With my regular job, all my breaks are paid so I usually just kind of take them whenever I want. At the part time job they're regulated so the supervisor got upset when I hadn't received my break on time. I told him that I knew it was policy, but I really didn't mind. He just kept apologizing and even told me to clock out a few minutes later so that I could get a full 15 minute break. I told him with the job tomorrow morning, I'd rather clock out on time and just take the hit. He played off that he didn't hear anything and let me go.
I know that it's the rules, but sometimes things happen and people don't get their breaks when they're supposed to. It's really not a big deal. Now, if I had been there for 6 hours or more without getting a break, I might have said something. The machines won't let it go that long anyway, but still. When I'm only working 4 hours, not taking a break is no big deal for me.
Tomorrow I have both jobs to work, but then Wednesday and Thursday I'll get to sleep in, which working 4 hours each evening at the part time job. Tonight went well; I wasn't working with people in a bad mood and there was a different closing manager, so I wasn't distracted by anything. I have a feeling I'm not going to be so lucky tomorrow night. As long as I don't have to deal with a repeat of Saturday night then everything should be fine. I can handle people not being in a good mood and I can handle the distraction of my crush, but I'd rather not have to deal with both at the same time.
The weather has started to hint at Autumn coming. There's a chance of rain every day this week with the temps only reaching up to the low-mid 70s. It's definitely a nice break from the sunny 80s that we've been having all summer. I can finally give my fan a break; although, this summer was a lot more mild than last summer. I'm definitely looking forward to when the highs are only in the 60s and the chances of rain increase.
Until tomorrow. . .

After work today, I went over to my coworker's place to assist him and his girl with their move. We pretty much had a caravan going with 4 different cars. It was cheaper than renting a U-Haul, especially since one of the people had a big pick up truck. It took 3 trips in about 3 hours to get everything that was left up to the new place. This included a pizza break. They had a lot of the stuff moved over to the new place already. Pretty much what was left was the bigger items and some of the smaller, necessary items that couldn't go until the last minute. Luckily it wasn't too far of a trip. I might have used maybe a gallon of gas, give or take.
I told my coworker that I had a crush on his friend. He laughed, but that was about it. I was expecting more teasing, but I didn't get it. That will probably be the only time I bring it up to him, but I feel a little better now that I've said something. Too bad I can't just get over it and move on. It wouldn't be that easy.
I have a couple more hours before I call it a night. I work both jobs tomorrow so I'll need to make sure I get a decent amount of sleep tonight. If anything, I can always nap between jobs, but that tends to make me cut it close and I'd rather not deal with worrying about whether I'll be on time or not. We'll see how tomorrow goes.
Until then. . .

Ugh. The morning started off fairly well. I slept in until around 8ish or so. I think I finally got up around 9. I was able to get my laundry done then and I napped before I went in to Sam's for my evening shift. I already knew it was going to be a long 4 hours because of the mood that everyone was in. I tried to shake it off and not get myself wrapped up in the bad juju, but it had to hit me at least once. I apparently missed scanning an item in a basket and I'm pretty sure I know exactly who it was... the guy who said that he had purchased it then proceeded to curse me out in his own language when I told him that I needed proof of purchase. Ugh. Hopefully Monday night is better.
One good thing that came out of it was that I got to talk to the manager a little bit. I did catch myself staring at his ass at one point ... I'm glad no one else was around to catch me.
Tomorrow is back to regular work, but it'll be a screwed up week. Hopefully I'll still be able to keep up with the one-a-day blogs. I've been okay so far. I think I've only missed 4 days in total for the year. Considering we're almost to September, I think that's pretty damn good.
Alright, I am going to be up for a little while; I have to wait for my hair to dry some and let the food digest a little bit. I'm gonna kill time by watching stuff on YouTube.
Until tomorrow. . .

I got the Samsung Galaxy S4 today. Jacob was nice enough to lend me the money so I'll be paying him back when I get the chance, but it's pretty awesome that I didn't have to wait. We were at the mall to get one for him and he figured since his paycheck was a lot more than normal, he could afford to get me one. It's super awesome to finally have a new phone.
There are, however, a couple drawbacks. One, for some odd reason I can't get picture messages when the WiFi is on so that's kind of annoying, but whatever. It takes next to nothing to turn the WiFi off. Second, I had to start over, from the very beginning, of Jetpack Joyride and there's a lot of stuff I'm missing out on. It sucks so bad. I can still access it on my old phone, but it makes me sad that I couldn't just keep the stuff that I had available to me. I guess that's one thing that Apple has going for them ... you can transfer app information. It's too much to ask for a perfect phone so I knew there was bound to be a downfall somewhere.
Aside from the trip to the mall and getting new phones, today was kind of a relaxing day. I slept until around 8:30 and laid in bed until 9. I didn't leave the house until around 11. After I dropped Jake off at work, I stopped at the bank and went over to the coffee shop to get some food and socialize. I came home around 4 and have been lounging around since.
Tomorrow morning I'll probably get up whenever I wake up so that I can get my laundry done at a reasonable hour. I also have to work Sam's tomorrow evening so if I'm up early and stay awake the whole day, I'm more likely to sleep a little better once I get home for my regular shift on Sunday. At least that's the hope.
Until tomorrow. . .

I wasn't expecting to enjoy my cashier job, but on nights like tonight when I work with people who make the job enjoyable, it makes me happy that I got it. It does give me a nice change from what I'm used to; a break in the monotonous routine. I'm not sure how long after my trip I'll keep up with the part time job, but we'll see what happens when that time comes. For now, it's serving its purpose.
Regular work was kind of crazy again today. It was sort of a repeat of Tuesday, but with a little less chaos. Two o'clock couldn't have come fast enough. I'm thankful that I'm off from there the next two days. Even with the 4 hour shift I'm working on Saturday at Sam's, it'll still be nice to have the time off.
I'll be up for a little while to let my hair dry some before I go to sleep. I am definitely taking advantage of being able to sleep in. I'm aiming for at least 9, if not later. If I wake up before then, I will either lay in bed until I fall back asleep or I'll just lay in bed until 9. I do have some errands to run tomorrow, but it is all stuff that can be taken care of later in the day.
Until then. . .

So there's pretty much no way that people who search me will be able to find this blog. At least not easily. There's no tie between this username and my actual information. It's nice that I can pretty much talk about whatever I want and no one I know will be able to find it. That being said, I will still password protect something if I really feel that it shouldn't be read by anyone other than the fine members of NuTang.
I was actually about to get in a sigh of relief tonight at Sam's, but then the manager walked in and I tensed up. It was only a momentary bit of tension; something that someone would really have to be paying attention to me in order to notice, but it was still there. I was hoping that he wouldn't be there so that I wouldn't have to worry about the distraction. It can't just be that easy can it? Of course not. Then it wouldn't be the complicated life that I'm living. At least he didn't make an effort to come talk to me at all. That did make it easier. I think the only two exchanges were 'how are you?' and 'goodnight.' Hopefully he's not there tomorrow.
Speaking of tomorrow ... it's finally my Friday! Just 8 hours of regular work and 4 hours of part time work and I'll be finished until 5pm Saturday! Unless I get called in again . . . which case I'll be free until Saturday afternoon sometime. Still, I'll have two days where I can sleep in and enjoy my free time. Friday is payday so I do have a few errands to run, but that's all stuff I can take care of later in the day.
I have to get through tomorrow first, though.
Until then. . .
