Ah. The big day.

But I am restless.

The show is tonight and I want to do something to distract myself from it.

I walk and look around.

All members are away preparing for tonight.

There are still so many hours to tonight.

But time will fly. This is it.

The show is tonight... And after that we will be in the air.

On 20 something 2011...

I am exhausted, but my face did not show because everyone is too.

I wanted to sit somewhere to rest, but they are calling out for distribution.

I make myself useful.

I go to the storeroom with the rest and help remove boxes to the empty space.

I wanted to help sort the things for distribution, but it seems the distribution line works more efficiency without me so I remove myself from the duty, and a meeting calls out to me. I guess it sensed my restlessness.

Bla bla bla. Right. Ended? Ok. Good.

What?! Wait. Someone is calling me.

I go out and queue at the beeline and receive my items. Shirts, pins, bla bla bla and he asked is everyone gonna get one of this. Yes honey, we each get a sunblock too. And the girls get eyeliner too.

And wow, my brooches are different from the rest. And I was admonished not to lose them.

Oh I keep that in mind, if I remember...

And... We are done? Really done?

Spinoff: I ran up to the dark toilet and brush my teeth, and I accidentally wash my face with the given moisturiser from the beeline. Ugh. Brain got fried.

Wait, where is my green eyeliner?

On 21 October 2011 ...

I was having lunch with my usual clique and I didn't expect my Bhangra dance partner to take the seat opposite me. We ate in silence.

I watched him eat and I declined the watermelon he offered me. It's a bad habit of mine to lose appetite when I'm under pressure.

My eyes looked dreamily at his food, and I saw images in my head. I suddenly developed an urge to verify my images.

Picking up my courage I asked him politely.

"So do you mind if I asked what are you planning to do in 2 years time?"

"Hmm... let's see... perhaps study or get married? Who knows I might get a bride from the trip?"

We laughed.

"Hmm... Yea. That's possible. We all have to start somewhere, right?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Hmm... It's hard to describe but I sometimes can see the future. It may or may not happen due to your course of action. But most likely you will be getting married in 2 years time."

Our friends cooed.

"Really?!"

"Yea. Have you thought what colour your wedding theme should be?" I asked with a big grin.

"Oh. I will leave that to the girl. But maybe orange." He smiled.

Tidbits: Oh. I can actually tell him what the theme colour is, but it's definitely not orange, but who knows since destiny and future can be changed by our course of actions.

Nevertheless, I was very surprised to receive premonitions related to him. Perhaps, I was very in-tune with him at that time.

On 19 October 2011...

A celebrity showed up at our camp.

The female members were already geared in the fan-mode and I got no idea who he is. He didn't even look familiar to me.

He is a famous criminologist who has been invited to several talks and awareness campaigns. And yet I failed to recognise him.

He was brought to the camp by the senior who facilitated our discussion. The objective is to motivate us.

He motivated us by giving us tips on public speaking and apparently it was his birthday too!

The senior brought a cake to celebrate with us!

Spinoff: The cake is definitely a treat for all of us!!!

I promised myself to be more diligent in reading the newspaper and local news to acknowledge the local celebrities in the social sciences department. Acknowledgement is all I can offer for giving back to the society.
