The night before i had like less than 4hrs of sleep and surprisingly this mornin i got up before my alarm went off feelin somewhat reinvigorated! Superb! n thank god no eye bags or dark circles. wouldnt know how to get rid of those if i were to get any of it. i dont think puttin on concealer is a good solution (not that i know how to apply it anyway), might be good for a temporary solution but not on a permanent note.

So me & jolenesiah went for breakfast. we supposed to have something she was craving for but we think that the stall's out of operation due to the look of it. we went down to the next nearest town for breakie. somethin ive not had before n the soup we had was good. dont think the cook added any MSG to it since i wasnt all thirsty after i had the food. after that we went to get bread for jolenesiah's family.

So at the bakery i couldnt help myself but to get myself some as well! I especially love this Facaccia al Rossi ( an Italian herbed bread infused with black olives, olive oil, parmesan & mozzarella ), its so scrumptious! Then i bought a Tomato wholemeal bread. it smells wonderful! n it has that erm...how do i describe it.. like as though u're chewin on a very thin classic italian pizza, minus the cheese with only tomato paste on the crust. ive had my first taste of cream puff after so long. the filling is extremely creamy unlike those ive taste. nice!

I suppose be sleepin at this hour and im jst not sleepy n i gotta be up in like 4hrs & 30mins!

Hmmm...come to think bout it i think its the cheddar cheese wth wholemeal slice i had earlier that's keepin me up. I deliberately stay away from peanutbutter so that i dont get all hyper but now it seems like cheddar cheese has got the same effect on me as peanutbutter!

I was out at the airport earlier to pick up my uncle ; flew back from some seminar in the Philippines. so he was telling me all bout his seminar n they were brought to this biggest mall over there and wht amazes me is that the founder of that huge mall started off from as a shoes agent n slowly he built his way up to and now the richest man in the Phil. thats definitely one motivating story.

so after droppin my uncle off his apartment , i took my own sweet time to get back home. its really nice to be driving on the road at bout midnight with a full moon insight. should have jst stop by the beach n jst sit, relax n let the moonshine beautify the place. but its pretty dangerous to be out on the beach at that time. the ride home was more like a joy ride for me. n when i reached home i was jst sittin in the car lookin at the full moon. so beautiful yet so mysterious.

Yesterday i had a conversation with a good friend. We were catchin up and then he was tellin me all bout his flings! and for the past week how many he has dated n how many he'd fuck! i have no idea why guys love to do that. or they (my guy friends) know that i couldnt care less bout their sexual conquest wth some random girls unlike most of their girl friends ; advises them to quit...etc

ive no qualms bout wht he wanna do with his life but wht sickenin is that he actually told me that he started to get to know more girls n date them and fuck them in the end jst to prove to himself whether he loves his girlfriend or not. to me that's sick! wht on earth got into him? how can u jst fuck someone n ask urself if u're truly in love with your girl? i dont think if u'd truly love someone you'd betrayed her like that. thats so fundamentally wrong!

after the conversation , i was wonderin wht happened to him? who has he became? i feel like he's a stranger and i no longer know the person he used to be! has he taken the wrong route n kept goin further? i suppose there's nothin much a friend can do. its a sad thing to see your friend gettin into somethin unhealthy like that. perhaps its due to how his girlfriend has been treatin him and all this is a form of revenge? one thing for sure, he definitely changed the way i look at him..i miss the old friend i know , i dont think im gonna ever like this new him..

This mornin when i got up, i've this strong urge to experiment and get busy wth my hands in the kitchen, i suspect tht the urge was built up cuz i went to bed with an empty stomach last night! so i thought i'd whip up somethin easy n less time consuming like finger foods, since i've kinda drafted my schedule on fittin a few chapters of my workplace law materials into my readin time today.

So here's wht i managed to come up wth...

Mini Pita with melted Cheddar Cheese & Coriander

Since I'm a big fan of both cheddar cheese and coriander leaves so i thought i'd do it wth the garlic pita i bought earlier. This can be done wth tortilla as well but too bad my bro was hungry n ate up the tortilla version of this before i manage to snap a pic of it.

Minced Pork coated in Breadcrumbs

I wanted to do make some spicy dips for this dish but since i dont have much ingredients in the fridge, i served it wth Thai Chilli Sauce.

Rice Wine Fried Chicken wth Wasabi Mayo

As for this i can definitely squeeze more wasabi paste into the mayo. but i gotta be considerate on my granny n my mom's part. both are pretty new wth wasabi. I couldnt get enough of the wasabi! and this recipe jst strike my mind that i can come up with somethin similar, poultry based stuff. I'll be making pork burgers for the family wth some wasabi based ingredients when im done wth my finals.

Deep Fried Gyoza

I only manage to capture this version of Gyoza (Japanese Potstickers), i didnt snap the soup and also the pan fried version of gyoza cuz everyone was busy eatin n i was in hunger when i was done preparing all that so i only manage to snap the first batch of gyoza (deep fried). I suppose to make the dip wth some grated ginger n vinegar but i omitted that totally n jst eat it as it is.

As usual , our lil ms cravings,jolenesiah was craving for ice cream in the afternoon, so we went over to our usual ice cream parlour but this time around its at a different location n a different branch but still servin the same thing but lack the options.
