Yesterday after work I had an appointment. Normally it would take me 15 minutes to get from my work to Costco, but with 5 pm traffic it would take the full 30 minutes just about. I haven’t used a public restroom since high school. That three year experience has lasted me a lifetime and caused much trauma on my mental state and is probably why I fear public restrooms so much. Unfortunately I did not need to go until it was time to head to my appointment and was already in my car. A battle ensued within myself. What to do? Do I head back into work and be late for my eye exam follow up or wait until I got home? I decided to wait which was the wrong choice. I will never EVER do that again. It smelled like a mixture of poo, strong pee and bleach making me wanting to hurl. I was debating on if I should just risk the long 30 minute drive home, but then I remembered I needed to get some food on the way home... Blast it all! With the bumpy roads ahead I decided to just hold my breath and get out as quickly as possible.

Luckily when I was telling my boyfriend how the company I work for might move to a building with “shared” (aka open for unknown “dirty” people to use) bathrooms he told me a lot of tips to help me through my experience. Since I did not have a can of Lysol with me I wiped down the seat with wads of toilet paper making sure there was plenty between my fingers and anything that might be lurking on the seat. Then I used two toilet seat covers facing opposite ways. The last tip he had for me was to use the ball of my foot to press the lever down. At first I thought “how silly” when he first told me. I no longer think that. Without touching the stall I quickly pressed the lever down with my foot and got out as fast as I could. The only good experience was the fact they had sinks with faucet sensors that ran a good warm water to wash your hands in. Although this doesn’t do much since you then have to press down the lever to get your paper towels, I used my elbow. I wonder if Lysol makes purse sized containers?

I'm sure half of you guys will be offended by the lyrics, but it's up on top so you can ignore it. :) Disclaimer: I in no way am suggesting you or anyone you might know commit suicide. I do not approve of suicide; even if the person is a dumba**** that makes me wonder why God ever put them on Earth other then to annoy the crap out of me. :)

Edit:As my boss put it I am “giddy”! Since Jared left we have been tossed around by FedEx between two people. I’ve been told a lot of things, but it came down to no one knew when or who our next “main” guy would be. Well today I was given GREAT news! Jared’s coming back!!! I’m giddy as a school girl and as happy as a clam about this news. I liked him a lot and he was cool to joke around with. The guy who told me was very cool too so I will miss him, but I’m just glad we get Jared back! XD

I’ve made it past the $3.00 mark! I only need 17 more bucks to get paid and 37 more by the middle of August! Blogmad.net has really helped out a lot. I wasn’t able to get on it that much this weekend though so I’m back down to below 200 credits. I’m sure I can get it back up to my preferred safety net of over 500 this week though since I’ll be working on editing scans. Enough was enough and I needed to quit putting it off so I started to peck away at them last night. I was able to finish a side story and part of the chapter before it. I haven’t done a release in a lot of weeks and it’s about time. It’s not that it’s hard to do or anything, just that it’s slightly boring. Ok it’s very boring to do. Open picture. Crop picture. Turn picture 180 if needed. Add on my sig if there’s an empty place. Save as jpg. Rinse and repeat. I’m not even sure why I put on my sig since it’s not like I place it in an spot to keep people from taking my scans. It took me 30 minutes to make so I made it so I might as well use it. :)

I have a feeling that after this weekend my life will get all crazy. I still have gifts for my boyfriend’s side of the family to buy, plus I have a lot of cleaning and figuring out what we can pack now. Right now it’s not much of anything since we need everything. I’ve been slowly getting things we don’t use into boxes, but I know most of it will be packed within the month before we move. I’ve never had to pack before and since my only guide on how to pack properly is from a Martha Stewart episode my boyfriend is a tad worried on the cost of all the supplies we’ll need. I’d rather pack properly and have the supplies cost more then end up with broken dishes when we unpack. Then again if our dishes are broken that means I finally get to buy some new ones and I really like this set from Crate and Barrel. Hmmm...I think I’ll need to give it some more thought. It could end up being a double edge sword where he ends up saying we’re only two people and didn’t need those if not enough are broken.

This week shall be Blood Hound Gang songs week! I was going to start yesterday, but I ended up getting sidetracked with a bunch of other things. A word of caution for those who are easily offended; don’t read the lyrics. They are not to be taken seriously. It’s just all fun and games. I find them funny, but I’m sure there are many who don’t. To each his own so no complaining since you don’t have to read the scrolly thing if you don’t want to. :)

@Nuttz: It's like there here still in some parts of the US. People don't understand. I wonder when there will be a broader charity group where they give not just to Africa, but to other countries who need help and support.

@babiemidnightbabiemagic: You are comparing apples to oranges. Keeping a pet well when it gets sick does not costs nearly as much as it does if someone gets HIV or AIDs. When a pet gets a terminal disease like AIDs you do not have to sit back as it slowly and painfully kills the one you love turning them into bones and skin. You are able to put an animal out of its misery. You have that choice. You are right though animals do deserve help too. I like to give money to shelters who do not put animals to sleep after X amount of days since all animals deserve a chance at a good home. December 1st was not the day to observe our over population of animals, but AIDs. People who get AIDs do not want it and did not want it. Many people who get AIDs did not do so because of being reckless. AIDs can destroy a lifetime of happiness.

Now I’m saying all of this thinking you have not gone through the hell of watching someone you love and care about die of AIDs. If you have please comment and I will take back my comments for your remark on trying to compare AIDs with over population of animals and what they go through just because someone didn’t want them and the fact you feel they are a worthier cause. After all if you have and still feel that way I can fully accept your feelings of how one cause is greater then another. If you haven’t then, well there is no nice way to put what I’m thinking so I’ll keep it to myself. :) Thank you for your comment.
