Something tells me that this quiz is just another way to say that I am boring:

You Are Placid and Peaceful

It's not that you're scared of most thrills

It's just that you don't need them to be happy

You're content with life as is... no need to change it

Just make sure to let loose a little every now and then!

haha...it's not that I don't like risks, I just like to know what I'm doing.

For a second there, in the title, I thought it said I was flacid...ouch

But anyway...enough about the little blogthingy I put at the top of my entry. Today is Saturday...I should be enjoying my Saturday, but instead, I feel somewhat discontented.

I suppose when I get lazy, I just tend to pile crap on my desk around me. I specifically told myself when I moved into this apartment that I was not going to be a messy person! WELL, my desk is a disaster...I have papers and junk mail strewn about my kitchen counters (as you can tell, I really don't cook all that much)...and it's driving me up the wall...YET I'm too lazy to go clean it up. What is wrong with me? Does anyone else get this way or is it just me?

Ugh, speaking of messes...some lady at work gave me some tomatoes and I was like "Oh yeah, I'll take em!" Well, I brought them home and forgot about them...and they were way too ripe to begin with when she gave them to me...and they leaked all over the counter...into all my lovely junk mail. I didn't notice yesterday until I got home from grocery shopping and was like "Eww, what the hell is that smell???" (you can tell I don't go in the kitchen very often either...lol)

Okay, I guess the question is now...why am I blogging and not cleaning up this mess? I don't think I'll ever know...

I'll leave you with some points to ponder while I go get on all that...

• Law students spend more time in ethics training than any other professional students.
• The average age of first-time cell phone owners has decreased from 17 to 12 since the year 2000.
• Memorizing and quoting trivial information can increase a person's score on standardized IQ test by 11 to 19 points.
• When cornered, a lemur can jump over ten feet straight up.
• According to Google, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, searches for "porn" more than any other city, worldwide.

I was just randomly looking at baby stuff (actually, I was more looking for something for me...my back is killing me) and I saw a section on this website for halloween costumes. I was like, oh, okay...let me look at what they have. Then I saw the worst costume ever...

I would never dress my kid in this:

It's bad enough Star Wars has become big, but to make my kid yoda...I'd feel horrible for them. It's like Wait when they see that costume when they're older. I can just imagine the looks right now...haha

Um....yeah....

is up with this rain? It's nice, sunny, peachy ALL day when I'm working...I get off work, we get thunder, lightning, horrible downpour...

Grr...it's like it wanted to torture me or something and do this when it knew I was going to go out this evening and go shopping. Now it's going to be a furious sprint from the car to the store and back again because it's gonna rain hella bad.

To think I wanted to be a meteorologist, and now, I'm like...fuck the weather!

It's great to be friday!
Friday. 9.15.06 8:46 am
Well, it's Friday...I got paid today (which is always a great thing)...I have to work a little overtime tomorrow, but that's no biggy. It's pulling files, so it'll be easy work...and as long as I've got my iPod, it'll go by quickly.

I'd work late tonight, however, Target is having huge baby sale and I'm dragging my boyfriend there tonight so we can look at baby crap and I actually have to go grocery shopping there, so I'll do that also. I was like "I'm sure the last thing you want to do on your Friday evening after work is go shopping for baby things" and he goes "Oh, it might be fun." haha...I'll show him fun...wait until we have to buy diapers and food and all that random stuff. It'll seem like such a waste...and oh so expensive. I don't think we'll start doing the baby registry until we know what it is (yay...Sept 26th...coming up so soon!)

I think I've allergies big time in the morning or something. I drive to work all congested, sneezing, watery eyes, the whole nine yards. I've never had allergies before and this is pissing me right the hell off. Can't I just be able to breathe!!??

Okay, enough procrastinating...really have to work now.

I saw this earlier today and I am praying, PRAYING, that my baby never gets this big

14-Pound, 13-Ounce Baby Sets Record

NORWICH, Conn. -- Marie Michel's fifth child was one for the record books.

Michels gave birth to a 14-pound, 13-ounce boy Tuesday at William W. Backus Hospital.

Backus officials said the newborn -- Stephon Hendrix Louis-Jean -- broke the 18-year record for the biggest baby ever born at the hospital by 1 pound, 13 ounces. He was nearly 23 inches long.

"He's built like a linebacker," said Dr. David Kalla, who delivered the baby by Caesarean section.

After nine months of carrying Stephon, 36-year-old Michel said she was happier about having finished giving birth than about all the attention her baby was receiving.

After nine months of carrying Stephon, 36-year-old Michel said she was more tired and happy to have given birth than all the attention her baby was receiving.

"I was miserable," Michel said. "I couldn't sleep at night. My 13-year-old son had to help me get in and out bed."

The baby's size came as no surprise to his mom. Michel's oldest son weighed 9 pounds at birth, her 8-year-old twin sons each weighed 81/2 pounds and her youngest son, age 3, was nearly 12 pounds.

Michel's husband, Vijens Louis-Jean, a truck driver, was coming from Florida to see his son.

Less than 24 hours old, the baby was fitting into clothes for a 6-month-old and was too big for newborn diapers.

"I have baby clothes but I don't think they will be able to fit," Michel said. "I think I will have to return them."
