This song is actually called Across the Universe and it's performed by Jim Sturgess. I don't really have anything to say. Heh. Just posting more music. Still doing the pay-to-click thing. Between bux.to and Clixsense (which is by far the best PTC I've signed up for) I'm at 20 dollars. I have 6 dollars on another one, and the rest are just about pocket change. But 26 dollars isn't bad for less than a month's worth of clicking 20 minutes a day. Comment! (0) | Recommend! New Music from "Across the Universe" Tuesday. 9.25.07 7:11 pm This is “Hey Jude”. Written by The Beatles and sung by Joe Anderson. The song is from the movie “Across the Universe” which Jenn and I saw yesterday. It was pretty good. Not great. Certainly not as good as Moulin Rouge. The music was of course awesome. Re-recordings of Beatles songs by some great singers. The actors all did their own singing. But the story needed serious work. If they’d left it a love story with some 60's themes it would’ve been fine, but there were a lot of unnecessary scenes that were clearly written just so they could have a musical number. Similarly, the characters were clearly named just so certain Beatles songs could be sung about them. So there wasn’t really a good balance between the music and the story. But it was still a good movie, if only for the music. The acting was great though. Even Bono was in it for one scene and... shockingly enough he was a great actor. In any case, I would recommend it, but see a matinee. Comment! (2) | Recommend! |
