Streaking (plus the best myspace ad EVER.)
Monday. 2.2.09 4:43 pm
So I threw my puppy bowl viewing yesterday.
We stepped into the kitchen to have some more drink, and we walk back to a dog running around with a censor bar across it's rear.
We couldn't figure out what was going on, so we rewatched most of the puppy bowl.
It was... a streaking puppy
I love how the ref is half-heartedly chasing it.
Best myspace ad, EVER
I don't know what I think of that.
My Sad Ice Cream.
Wednesday. 1.28.09 6:58 pm
Every Sunday or so, Dave and I go grocery shopping.
I've made it a habit to keep ice cream in the house. I'm not sure why, but I do, and I enjoy my ice cream. I refuse to buy low-fat/low-whatever/omg-ur-a-whale-if-u-don't-buy-this "ice cream", unless it's exactly what I want.
This particular Sunday, I decided that I didn't want my standard last-exactly-one-week "pint" of Ben & Jerry's/Dove/Haagen-Dazs, but perhaps something different, as the pint flavors were somewhat limited.
I search the freezers, and I find this stuff by Breyer's, Overload! Waffle Cone.
Looks tasty, doesn't it? No crazy "low calorie"/"low fat"/"Atkins approved" BS, just a tasty carton of ice cream.
I open it, I eat it, and while the caramel and wafflecone are not bad, the ice cream section leaves something to be desired. Whatever, I'm a fatass, I eat my ice cream.
I go to put it away, and out of curiosity, check the side panel. Now I know why my ice cream leaves something to be desired: 130 calories and 3 g fat a .5 cup serving. My normal ice cream has 300c and 16g per the same amount, iirc.
I may well have bought some stupid low everything "ice cream"...
I'm buying that stupid Coffee-heath-bar tub when I'm done with this stuff.

I remembered a while ago, that Puppy Bowl was soon!
I am excited, and I am throwing a Puppy Bowl viewing. So much cooler than a Super Bowl viewing. What number Super Bowl is this, anyway? KWYJIBO?
Anyway. I've decided that Puppy Bowl lends itself well to a drinking game, as watching cute puppies and kittens for three-ish hours would have to.
From the starting lineup, I think Moose may be my favorite. Or maybe the mini pinschers.
Anyway, the drinking. I guess since it's a Sunday, I should probably keep the drinking light. I also need to figure out what warrants a drink.
Here's one set of rules.
I might keep those.
I also think collective "aww"ing or squealing should warrant a drink. Or when your favorite puppy comes onto the field. Or whenever there is a penalty. And puns! Puns are drink-warranters. Bowl-cam, it should warrant a drink, obviously.
Ooooh Parrot singing the anthem!
Ref Andrew looks much better with a face-rat.
It's all a bunch of hullaballoo,
Tuesday. 1.20.09 1:59 pm
and I'm trying to avoid it.
For some reason, this gif makes me laugh.
I'm not quite sure why.
So sad! Plus.

Poor circuit city, they are down for the count. :(
Who will I buy my electronic goods from now?
We all know how I utterly detest The Great Evil. Why couldn't they have gone out of business?
Why couldn't all of their stores spontaneously and simultaneously combust?
Poor Circuit City.
So I was crusin' for a bruisin' on imeem, and I came across this taiko drum master song called "jingisukan", which is actually supposed to be "Dschinghis Khan" by a group of the same name. I went to youtube to find this song to send to my friend, and end up at one of those weird "let's write what it sounds like in english" videos for their song "Moscow".

And it isn't even noon-thirty.
Hp cannot seem to understand this thing called "send the box to this address" with 100% consistency.
My box is at home, four hours away, completely blipping useless to me. Every time I call them I have to call them again to change the address, and god only knows if it's going to be the right address. This time I called them twice, they had the right address, BOTH TIMES, and my box is still four hours away. What in the world is so hard about overwriting an address or even processing that billing and shipping addresses are not always the same?! Augh. I am really tired of dealing with this, but if I wait too long, it will be out of warranty... >.>
I'll call them after 9, when it's free.
I have had a head-eye-ache since last night, if I close my eye too hard or poke my eye or something like that, it hurts. Maybe it's stress. Then I bumped my temple against Dave's head, so that doesn't help either. Maybe it's the book I just read.
It's still cold outside, the high today is projected to be 16F, and the low, -1F.
I really want that apple, so I'm gonna brave the cold around 1.30 and go get it. I'm also gonna check the mail. I'll have to super-bundle up, it's currently 12F and feels like -3. Winds are WNW at 10 to 20 mph.
Is today a lottery day? I think it is. But it's only up to 12M. Funny how they call it Mega Millions, where Mega is 106... which is a million...
I always thought the phrase "Megameter" was amusing, but everyone else seems to use thousand km... so boring.
I'd love to go do something today, what, I'm not sure.
I'm an awful person, I delight in the downfall of companies. Goody's is going down, as is Circuit City, and B. Moss keeled over too. It means I get things for cheaaaap! Cheapy cheap cheap, though I'm not sure what sorts of things I need.
I realize I could use the Goody's shuttering to redo/insert some style into my wardrobe, but I have so many clothes... Woo! it feels like -2F now.
