The boss probably means that the hubby should be able to provide for all your monetary needs, bread winner of the house and other male chauvinist(my spelling sux i know) ideas. Aren't we being a tad too money faced? Maybe i'm naive to think that being able to provide for the family isn't THE thing involved in a marriage. What does a credit card mean? That the husband is doing well? With the ease of getting credit cards nowadays, I would think its no big deal. Ok.. i admit i think of credit cards as pretty, liability generating pieces of plastic. Do u know the number of people who have gone bankqrupt when levied with the interest snowballing??? i digress. Where was i? How meaningful is the credit card in marriage? In Sg, where both parties in a marriage work, I don't think it matters. The wife would probably be able to afford one anyway, y take the supp card when she can have her own with fringe benefits (local bank offering credit card integrated with discounts from various stores)? issit: his money is your money and your money is your money? Don't husbands and wives have joint accounts? hmmm... Well............ personally, i earn i spend. end of story
