Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous. Actually, who are you not to be? | Grande? Monday. 1.5.09 11:39 am ============================================= *edit* unfortunately i am also far too busy... ive got exams, assignments, Hong Kong, Chinese new year, class gatherings all roll into the month of January. lets see....this is not related to the above picture... Had a class gathering at Indochine Waterfront the other day... with the ever constant special guest kok, the 3.5yrs no see Lifen, disappearing trick audrey, amy, zhihan, michael, ben and suprisingly the BF agreed to come. lolx bill amounted to suprisingly 20+ per person. i need to side track abit to lament abt the difficulties of being the appointed organiser. go sakura.. tell me too cheapskate.. go indochine tell me too expansive. wat am i supposed to do man? anyways after dinner we decided to head for a watering hole.... zhihan, mike were back in thier clique, aud with her ever constant scandal partner kok were talking to lifen, catching up, me and bf enjoying the walk... amy and ben somehow managed to grow extremely long legs and were far away on front of us as we all walked to opposite boat quay on the opposite bank of Singapore river. only to realised half the street are zi char stalls now, even the coffeebean/starbucks/coffee joint is now zi char. lol .. we continued walking and ended up at circular street. =_= ... yes.. the street sort of near my office, where i go for lunch pretty often. walking thru the almost deserted place on a sunday night, we were accosted by this gaggle of rebonded long haired, hotpants girls standing in front of a what we came to know later as a karaoke pub. she brought us up to the pub which was depressingly well worn. the furniture looks like it has seen much much better days. the place was empty save for 2 uncles who were huddled together in a corner bar table. having not many other places to choose from, we sat down and ordered a bottle of chivas... its wasn't until after the first round of chivas did everyone find themselves comfortable enough to go up to the computer and select their favorite songs. well. actually its lifen and aud.. the rest of us just sang the songs they picked. lol by the time the last of the chivas was drank, it was 11+... me and the bf left them standing in the streets waiting for the next cab to come along. ===================================================== till next time~ Comment!
