A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Tuesday, March 4, 2008 I was playing Improbable Island. It seemed really confusing at first but after a while I got mildly used to it. And it's funny, if you can take all the reading. :P I'd planned to put a picture here of my joke questionnaire form, but I forgot to take the form home. (It was something about internet safety, I just marked it up rather... jokingly) So, no pictures right now. Man I feel like eating something. ![]() 1 + 1 = 3 I pwned a lolrus twice. Now I'm playing Kingdom of Loathing. It's very fun until you run out of Adventures. Sabre-Toothed Lime! Comment! (6) | Recommend! Yayyyyyyy! And then sadness Monday, March 3, 2008 My Jonathan Ian CD came today! :D Happiness. [There is a difference between 'happiness' and 'joyfulness', and not only the fact that the latter is not really a word. 'Joyfulness' connotates sarcasm. 'Happiness' means something good has happened.] Still no word on The Art of Falling Apart though. :( Sadness. I got an email that said they still haven't got it. This is leading me to think that I'm never going to get it. :/ BUT I am still happy with the CD I got. Which is unusual because usually I detest acoustic music... but he does it well, he really does. ![]() ![]() ...I've got to delete In Rainbows from my iTunes library. I can't stand it... My Body By: Jonathan Ian Mathers I see you sit there in my body You look back at me with my eyes You've maintained me well, but why did you pierce me there That's my body on your hands And that's not fair You're using what's mine and not in a nice way You don't care It's the same in your mind you reveal what's concealed inside I wouldn't have chosen those clothes for my body But they seem to fit me well You tattoo my back, you style my hair That's my skin you have on there And that's not fair You're using what's mine and not in a nice way You don't care It's the same in your mind you reveal what's concealed inside I see you sit there in my body I see you strike a pose for their eyes Please don't act so cute, please don't act so shy That's my mind behind those eyes And that's not fair You're using what's mine and not in a nice way You don't care It's the same in your mind you reveal what's concealed inside DC got a haircut. :( And a new shirt, I think. (Why do I notice this stuff?) Alice also got a haircut. :P Short boy cut! I'll tell you about it later. Dumb SAT. This doesn't change my hatred for you one bit. Comment! (0) | Recommend! The Apocalypse is coming! You will fit into my skinny jeans! Thursday, February 28, 2008 I... just had an urge to quote Metalocalypse. That's all. :P Let's see... I hung out with Alice for maybe three and a half hours today. Give or take a few minutes. We talked a lot. First we walked to my house (as usual). We wanted to make a smoothie but there wasn't any juice to use as a base. So we squeezed a few oranges. The first few were bad inside... The smoothie turned out good but it had a strange banana flavor, even though no bananas were present in it. Unless someone stopped time and blended them in while we weren't looking. After the smoothie, I left a note for my mom and we went to her house. She changed and I read Psychology Today. (I want to subscribe to that so much) Then she went rollerblading. I walked next to her. We talked a bit, and moved around. On the ground under a park table we found a sow bug (roly-poly, pillbug etc.). I tried to pick it up but it was insanely hard for some reason. Eventually I got it though. We watched it scuttle around for a bit then let it go free. Because of course, that's what you do when you really love something. :P When that was finished we just talked. A lot. For a while. And stuff. Chewing is painful. :/ My wisdom teeth are coming in and it sucks. The one on my right side isn't even really visible yet, but it still hurts. :( No pictures now, sorry. Comment! (4) | Recommend! I didn't make it Wednesday, February 27, 2008 I just know this is going to stretch my entry. :/ When I saw this on ABS it just reminded me so much of my oranges that I had to post it. Of course, mine didn't have any cool wordless storylines, but it's all fine. My mom signed me up for some free concert thing that the Choral Project is doing and I got accepted, so now I'm going to go watch people sing or something. I mean, not now, next Saturday. But yeah. Singing people... oh boy. I finished Penguin Diner and only failed on one level out of thirty four or something. The highest scores in that game are freaky... Oh, and sorry if I you thought I lost in a beauty pagent or couldn't save someone's life because of the title. Misleading, eh? :P Haluz Haluz 2 Comment! (4) | Recommend! Holy burning scones, Batman!
