Tootie (my roommate) is YELLING at her boyfriend. He stole her car keys and her house keys, and she kind of needs them to get in the aparment, her room, and to go to school and work. So, yeah, he's being a bastard. I think she's trying to break up with him too and make him not come over anymore, but it's difficult when her keys are being held hostage. Poor keys... Poor poor Tootie, what a shitty situation. I worry about her yelling at him because it could escalate into a full blown fight and somebody may end up being physically injured, and then I would have to call the authorities because there will be no abuse in this apartment. I got really nervous earlier because she was yelling really really loud at him, and she was going all over the place in the apartment. She locked them in her room, and then went to the kitchen and then the laundry room. It was very loud. So then boyfriend left. About 20 minutes later I heard a knock on the door and when I looked out the peephole... it was an officer of the law!! I opened the door and was like, "hi..." all quiet and nervous. He looked at me and then said, "Will you give these to Ashley for me?" Whew! Ashley is sick and I guess it was her dad bringing her some medicine and stuff. So I said sure and he went on his merry way. Then about 20 minutes after THAT there was another knock on the door and it was boyfriend. argh. I don't like people like him, he makes me uncomfortable. Especially now that he has keys to my apartment... What if he steals my dvds, or my dvd player? I'll be highly upset. But anyway, he just sauntered in and went straight into Tootie's room, he didn't even knock! Asshole... Then 10 minutes after THAT somebody else came over. I didn't answer the door though, boyfriend did. I think it was Cory, Ashley's boyfriend who is pretty cool. But now Tootie and boyfriend are arguing, although I can only hear Tootie, which is good because that means that the fight hasn't gotten too big. But if it goes on past 12 I will be slightly pissed because I want to get to bed early tonight. I wear earplugs when I sleep anyway because I'm a light sleeper and the tiniest fucking noise (pardon the language but it's frustrating to wake up all night long) will wake me up. Great, now boyfriends friend is here and he's super loud and obnoxious. What a fucking bummer man... I hope they leave soon.
I get mad because Tootie and Ashley always complain about our electricity bill, but Tootie lets people (boyfriend and his stupid friends) do their laundry over here. This is how it goes:
Tootie: I just don't understand why our water and electric bill is so high!
Ashley: Me either! I don't know what could be causing it, we aren't here that much and all we do is watch tv, and we only have two tvs anyway!
Me: I say nothing because I'm a chicken and hate confrontation. But I roll my eyes and daydream of saying, "You guys are dumb! It's because you do five loads of laundry a day, every day! That uses water and electricity! Lots! Of both! Geeze! It doesn't take a genius to figure that out!
But they will never understand and we will be forced to make $60 payments, even though utilites are added into our rent. Damn their ignorance! One of these days I'm going to say something...
Hmmmm... I can't hear any arguing anymore. I hope boyfriend left and gave Tootie her stuff back. And took his stupid stuff with him! He doesn't need to be keeping his stuff over here! The other day I was in the kitchen making lunch and he just came in our apartment! With Tootie's keys, which she should NOT have given him in the first place. Yeah, he just came in, said, "Man I'm tired!" walked in her room and went to sleep. Then when she came home she had to pound on the door because she had no keys! Man! What the fuck is up with that shit! Don't give your fucking house key to some guy you've only been dating for a month! Stupid stupid stupid! I love you Tootie, but you need to make better choices when it comes to the guys you date and the things you let them do to you! RAWR, it makes me sooooooooooooooooo mad... Oh well, its her life. I won't interfere. Unless abuse is involved. That I just won't take. Okay, that was long enough. I must rest now. Or read my book for my film mid-term... Yeah, I'll probably just fall asleep doing that. Okay.

I'm about to go eat something because I'm fucking hungry. What do I want... I hate lettuce but I'll probably eat a salad because that's all I have other than some ramen noodles. And I'm sort of tired of ramen noodles because I eat them every damn day. I'd go shopping but I only have about 28 bucks in the bank and I need that for gas and whatnot. It sucks being broke and too lazy to work and do school at the same time... I suck. I also make poor spending choices. That's never good. I know I'm not very chipper but I just woke up from a nap... I also had to drive all over the place for people today and it was rainy and that always makes me kind of moody. Oh well. I'm going to go find some food.

Texas Pharmacists Fired Over Prescription

DENTON, Texas (AP) - Eckerd Corp. has fired three pharmacists who declined to fill an emergency contraception prescription for a woman who had been raped, one of the pharmacists said Wednesday.

Gene Herr said he and two co-workers were fired Jan. 29, six days after refusing to fill the prescription. He said his own refusal was based on religious grounds.

Eckerd has declined to comment on their employment status. Joan Gallagher, the vice president of communications for Largo, Fla.-based Eckerd would say only that the company has taken appropriate disciplinary action.

Herr, 33, of Denton, said he declined to fill the prescription for the so-called ``morning-after pill'' because he believes it could have killed the embryo if the woman already had conceived. Though he had declined five or six times in the past to fill such prescriptions, it was the first time he had been handed one for a rape victim, he said.


``I went in the back room and briefly prayed about it,'' said Herr, who had worked for Eckerd for five years. ``I actually called my pastor ... and asked him what he thought about it.''


The two other pharmacists who were present also declined to fill the prescription. Herr would not name them.


The rape victim had the prescription filled at a nearby pharmacy.


Gallagher said Eckerd's employment manual says pharmacists are not allowed to opt out of filling a prescription for religious, moral or ethical reasons.


Herr said he did not know about that policy until his supervisors questioned him about it shortly before he was fired.


``In my mind if I agree to work for someone knowing that that's their policy, then I should submit to that policy. But I didn't even know about it,'' he said.


Morning-after pills are higher doses of the hormones in regular birth control pills and have been sold under the brand names Plan B and Preven since 1998. Taken within 72 hours of sexual intercourse, the pills are at least 75 percent effective at preventing pregnancy.

Okay, well the whole reason I was gonna go to Auburn was to see Matt because I haven't seen him in a month. It was going to be very fun, we were going to go to the movies and have a fabulous time. But now I'm still here, in Birmingham, because his stupid car broke down and now he can't go anywhere! What a fucking bummer man! I was so stoked to go down there but noooooo, his stupid ugly nissan altima had to just DIE. Piece of shit car... Anyway, I'm angry so I decided to vent. Sorry.

Okay, I'm about to go the tanning bed, get a shower, and then I'm heading back down to Auburn. It's going to be so much fun. This time I'm going by myself but Matt will be down there and I'm sooooooo happy! I probably won't drink as much, because I've noticed I've fallen into the "binge drinker" category... And that's never good. So anyway, I'm going to go darken my skin up and then I'm off on another grand adventure. Hopefully I won't get lost this time.
