This is because I happen to like to cook up imaginary situations in my head to destress and sometimes I can't help but say the words out loud. (6) | Recommend! | Categories: Music [t] Prank Friday. 4.2.10 4:38 am I think I did promise to tell you guys about this prank and I don't think I did blog about it yet. So here goes. The last week of internship.. being absurdly free for the first 3 days (for me), two other friends and I decided to prank another intern who has left a month back and decided to take a company note book with her. Let it be known that as interns, the note book isn't for us. So the prank goes like this: We wrote her a letter about her actions and told her that she has 14 (or maybe 7 by the time she received the letter) days to return it to the HR department. Here's the catch... she is in Brisbane, Australia. One of my friends, has develeped the awesome ability to write formal letters in his 3 months of internship and I have to give him a prize for the letter really seemed legit! Her reaction - Priceless. I really, really loved that day when she received the letter and I didn't know that she wouldn't have read the notes we folded and included with the letter. LOL! How I wish I could see her face when she read it. Comment! (3) | Recommend! Antique Bakery Thursday. 3.25.10 11:08 am Now I know why Katrina loves this series!! IT IS SO FUNNY!!!! I've finished reading the comics last week, while I was finishing my assignment... yes... one of the reasons why I finished my assignment later than expected is because I was reading comics.. XD Well, now I'm downloading the anime as I type this. I can't wait!! No doubt the content is not for those who are homophobic because that is what makes this whole thing funny! Edit: I don't quite like the anime.. it seems a bit.. off. If you decide to read it.. hope you will find it funny too. It's really a stress-reliever. Comment! (5) | Recommend! | Categories: Comics [t] Working Holiday Tuesday. 3.9.10 9:42 am I think I can say that I am having yet another working holiday, which makes this the longest I've gone without holidays longer than a week. Why? Because the stupid lecturers in my university decided that 2 major assignments on the work-based learning are to be due on the last day of our 2 week semester break or on the first day of the next semester. I only had 2 days of holidays last semester because of the internship (work-based learning) and now I only have 3 because tomorrow, I have to start typing out this journal which is due on Friday and then I have to type out a four thousand word essay, due the Friday after and prepare a 10 minute power-point presentation which is due the Monday after that. In between, I have to humour my mother, my brothers and my grandmother, other than having to start worrying about things that my friends would not need to worry about right now. Is this a blessing in disguise? I have no idea. I'm just so sick of being reliable and responsible. Can't I have someone to take over that for a good month or so? Comment! (4) | Recommend! Shopping therapy. Friday. 2.26.10 10:09 am So I went shopping today.. more specifically, I went shopping for a handbag. Why? 1) The one I had is starting to flake 2) Vanity streak. I want to wear my boots and not bring my bagpack in for my last day of work. 3) I thought it would make me feel better if I were to do it when friends around. Hell no. I was wrong.. so wrong.. I should go shopping on my won. Really, on my own. I bought another bag from MNG. Kinda liked this one but it's about 100 bucks. I'm kinda cool with it though my initial budget for it is like 50 bucks. So fine.. I kinda came back and starting being emo. I don't know why.. Well, I kinda know why.. 1) I'm having a hard time figuring out what to write for my thank you card to a collegue 2) It is about to be that time of the year again.. 3) My best friend's been MIA for a few days and the person I chose to talk to decided to make me feel bad for accidentally texting the wrong person. 4) Why can't some things just be easy for me?' 5) Some people just takes things forgranted. I should've bought chocolates today instead of having starbucks. Comment! (9) | Recommend! |
