A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

(4) | Recommend! Fidgety Friday, April 24, 2009 It must be stress or something. This morning I was almost late for school. I did get there in time, but walking around doing my office aid activities was damn uncomfortable. I felt like there were tiny little things crawling all over my torso and lightly burning me. This is probably why I've developed this anti-stress lifestyle. Stress does really horrible things to me. I mean if it was just mental I could totally handle it, but no, I have to feel like I need to rip my skin off to get any peace. --- Now that I've got that out of my system, you wanna hear about my dream last night? It doesn't matter whether you do or not, I'll describe it a bit anyway. I was in something of a demolished town, and all the buildings looked like they'd been in peak condition just before something destroyed them. I guess I was a vampire, because I went into this building that seemed to be the vampire headquarters. [I don't know why I have dreams about vampires, since I don't care for them all that much, but whatever] I was showing a couple of my friends around, and we went to this long counter with taps above it. By taps I mean faucets. Or drinking fountain type things. That sounds about right. One of my friends turned on the drinking-fountain-like contraption and some red liquid, which I'm assuming was blood since it was a vampire building, streamed out. She caught some in her hand, drank it, then washed her hand off using the same faucet, which was now spurting water just for that purpose. After the refreshments had been taken we moved on. I was showing them around the top of the building, which was open and very demolished-looking. There was water all over the place and we were climbing some concrete stairs. They weren't actually very long but it seemed like they took ages to get up. I was tired when we got to the top. I had to explain something to them, about my boss, and our rival, whose name was Rodman. Just then Rodman made an appearance and my friends left me to face her. (Rodman was her last name) She was a pretty sharp looking businesswoman, with a dark grey suit and short/medium length brown hair. [The woman I based her off of is a realtor in real life, I think?] My boss and I had just fought her in a long, epic battle, and she had returned. We talked casually, not fighting or anything. I was behind a desk, in a room with a white marble floor, and she was near the door on the other side of the chamber. There were only some support beams in the corners, no walls or ceiling. When I woke up I recalled that "fish" meant good or beneficial in the dream. It was a slang term that we vampires used. --- It was much clearer this morning, but I suppose this is good enough. Or should I say fish enough? (Ha ha) Comment! (4) | Recommend! It was not a good day D: Thursday, April 23, 2009 My day started out pretty well. We had our second senior meeting (which we only have to attend because the state changed the requirements for our educational hours or something like that) this morning. Not a whole lot happened at that, except... I won the raffle. :0 See, they hold raffles to motivate people to come, and my prize was a $15 iTunes giftcard. Pretty sweet, I know. BUT then I lost the graduation announcements my mom bought. That basically cancels out the super awesomeness of winning a giftcard. In fact, it made me so stressed that I having issues with my skin. (When I was younger, if I got extremely frustrated or stressed I'd rub my skin until it came off-- I don't do that anymore but there's still an itch) They gave us the announcements at school, in white cardboard boxes, and somehow I lost mine. I don't even know how, but it was incredibly nerve-wracking for me. There are very few things that actually perturb me these days, and losing things is one of them. My mom won't even be that mad about it, I think, but the fact that I lost it is... well, making me lose it. At least there's still a chance the box'll turn up... I mean, I don't think anyone around here is such a dick that they would steal my GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS. Where could it be though? Comment! (5) | Recommend! YOU KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO? Wednesday, April 22, 2009 I'm going to FINISH THIS ESSAY. That's right. I only have three and a half more paragraphs to go... If I didn't want to try hard I could have finished this on Monday in half an hour and it would've been awful, but I'm the kind of person that likes to take hours writing and revising and figuring out if what I'm saying actually works or not. D: This is due tomorrow. :'( Also I just ate the head of a chocolate bunny and we might have pizza for dinner and I'M NOT EVEN HUNGRY, BLAH. Going to get fat for sure. And by 'fat' I mean "chubby-ish". I would be quite frightened if eating part of a chocolate bunny and having some pizza made me overweight. ---Edit--- "Oh." Suddenly she felt very small. Comment! We're going back to downtown Campbell this weekend, so I might be able to find something there. We'll see. -Also need to mail the letter- Comment! (5) | Recommend! Return address Monday, April 20, 2009 Is... required? Or not? Trying to mail something to someone. It is hot today. BUT everything the dermatologist recommended seems to be working, so I'm quite happy about that. There was a Mexican guy with an ice cream cart on the way home from school. We bought sno-cones from him. My lips feel numb. Nothing else to report. ---Edit--- Do you ever feel like your opinions have formed groups and now you have more than one personality? Comment!
