Sixth competition at West High School in Torrance

Small Military - No place. technically "5th"
Banners - Disqualified
Hip-Hop - 3rd
All-Male - Champions
Co-Ed - Champions

Oh man. Such a big disappointment. =\ It sucks, but you win some and then you lose some and this happened to be the one that we wanted most besides Nationals. We had small mistakes, but we weren't horrible. I expected more than just 5th place. Banners got disqualified because of their drops, and the judges just thought our execution sucked. Janet Dillard, thank you for hating us. Agh. hahah. Man she is the only judge I remember from all my 3 years of being on a squad.. only because she gave us low scores EVERY YEAR. Not that we didn't deserve it then, but we don't deserve it now. Dude and the school got mad at us and the parents because we were eating in the parking lot, so they told us not to, or all our squads would get disqualified just because they were selling food there and we happened to bring our own. Yeah.. because we're going to buy food from you guys anyway. We ate there anyways. Fuck the school. We just got food and ate in our cars. Ha. The parents wanted to move the cars to the park and eat there, but we weren't guaranteed our parking spots would still be there if we left. Marilyn's mom is funny.. "i'm not letting them come back here next year." hahaha. All the other squads did great. I'm happy for them. Thanks Oxnard for the teddy bear and Narbonne for the candy & picture.
