Good times.

I had a good time, but of course I still wish Nick were there.

Whatever. The night was what it was. And I got hit on by someone, and I won't lie: even though I didn't find him attractive, it did give me some confidence. And there was some definite eye candy. So all in all, except for the Nick-thing: a good night.

Except now Jenny hates Nick and won't invite him anywhere anymore... Oh, well. I guess it's up to me...

EDIT: It's nice that Jenny cares enough about my feelings to be mad at Nick for being incommunicado with me. But I still like the kid and I want everyone to get along.

Anyway, need to sleep. Lab tomorrow.

I am a reed...

...trouble blows through me like the wind.

It's Monday... or, rather, Manic Monday (at the Brass Rail in Hillcrest). Truth be told, while nothing could possibly be so uplifting as an 80's-themed night of dancing and mayhem, I'm hesitant to go with the crew unless he does. I know, this is completely the wrong attitude to have; we're talking 80-cent drinks and (black) Michael Jackson bumpin' in the background! But I really want him to be there. A lot.

I may vomit from this new sickness I have acquired.

Arcadia on the mind.

C: i am so boy confused it isn't even funny.

R: Yeah. Me too.

There needs to be some universal language that everyone can understand without having to read into the intent, which is always very hard to do.

Alright, so it sucks the romance and poetry out of things... but it also will help protect from sometimes-counterproductive introspection...

C: so true!

i am so confused with boys

and basically the big thing i'm missing is what they think and what their intentions are

R: Yes!

Maybe I am guilty of the same thing, too... but...

I would be more up front if I felt he was.

Instead we have this crazy undecipherable waltz that makes all of entropy look like 2+2=4.

Lady Gaga - Paparazzi
Friday, March 27, 2009 @ 7:26 pm

We are the crowd, we're c-comin' out
Got my flash on, it's true
Need that picture of you
It's so magical, we'd be so fantastical

Leather and jeans, garage glamorous
Not sure what it means
But this photo of us--it don't have a price
Ready for those flashing lights
'Cause you know that baby, I--

I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me
Papa, paparazzi
Baby, there's no other superstar, you know that I'll be
Your papa, paparazzi

Promise I'll be kind
But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Baby, you'll be famous, chase you down until you love me
Papa, paparazzi

I'll be your girl backstage at your show
Velvet ropes and guitars
Yeah, cause you're my rock star in between the sets
Eyeliner and cigarettes

Shadow is burnt, yellow dance and we turn
My lashes are dry, purple teardrops I cry
It don't have a price, loving you is cherry pie
'Cause you know that baby, I--

I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me
Papa, paparazzi
Baby, there's no other superstar, you know that I'll be
Your papa, paparazzi

Promise I'll be kind
But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Baby, you'll be famous, chase you down until you love me
Papa, paparazzi

Real good, we dance in the studio
Snap, snap to that shit on the radio
Don't stop for anyone
We're plastic but we still have fun

I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me
Papa, paparazzi
Baby, there's no other superstar, you know that I'll be
Your papa, paparazzi

Promise I'll be kind
But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Baby, you'll be famous, chase you down until you love me
Papa, paparazzi
