Mother's day ...
Sunday, May 13, 2007
My sister, mum and I stumbled across this restaurant in Off Kuchai Lama in the midst of looking for a Taiwanese restaurant around there which my sis has read some time ago. Of course, we didn't find it because she doesn't even remember the restaurant's address and the contact number.

So we ended somewhere in Off Kuchai Lama. Mum and sis were buying fruits and I volunteered to braised the rain in search for food. And I found this weird and strange looking Chinese restaurant. I said weird and strange because I don't like the sight of Geoduck or some kind of weird seafood creatures lurking in the aquarium. I'm like anti-weird-looking-seafood-creatures. That's because I believe we should be happy and contend to have food to eat. So why explore some exotic food???

The owner spoke to me in English in some kind of Hawaiian top. But too bad the weather at that was pouring cats and dogs. I bet no luau for him.

Mum and sister and I were damn tired hunting for food so we just ended up eating there. We had our dinner at 4.35 pm. Early aye?

The food is good. Really Chinese and Hakka food. Haven't had this kind of food for ages. And the price is very splendid as well.

What we ordered?

Clamps = RM 26
Double-boiled Fish Soup = RM 142.50
Bitter gourd with salted vegetable = RM 12

And in toto, our bill was RM 203.13. That was the most expensive meal I have ever had. But who cares? It's Mother's day.

I went to the hospital today for a jaw check-up. No big deal. Just some click-click sound in my jaw... and to ease the pain in my jaw, I need to put pressure onto the pain at a weird position. That's because my lower jaw needs to be moved to the right ...

This famous doctor deduced that it's some muscle spasm in my jaw due to many reasons: yawning, opening my mouth to much or simply just accident. Before he came up with a conclusion, I have told him that I have met an accident where I hit the front passenger seat. And my left jaw hit it - hit it hard. The pain was sharp and I couldn' talk for hours. I still remember it.

So he has advised me not to eat nuts, chicken meat or simply anything hard and chewy. But I added that I should not be talking too much as well since he'd mentioned 'opening the mouth too much' is one of the causes.

We laughed.

So I went to the physiotherapist later. My jaw dropped. Why do I need to see a physio if the pain is in my jaw? Went I did. And the physio laughed at me. That's because he was advising me that I CANNOT shout too much and eat anything hard. So I just be frank with him that you are just telling me to not talk too much! But who cares? If I could shout ONLINE?

And this must be the funniest news my friends have ever heard I guess.

Can Renaye really shut up?? Even if you gag me, I bet I would.

So this is indeed splendid to all my VICTIMS [if you feel you are my lovely victim] ... I'm trying my best not to talk too much because I don't want to go for MRI which will cost me some thousands ..

Wish me luck.

Too direct = no life ?
Thursday, May 10, 2007
I was having yum cha [having cuppa tea] with a newly made friend from my sales department after work today ... and we had a lot of things to talk. One of the things that he was commented about me was I'm a direct person and a person that would get things done. I just smiled. And I added that I'm a person that has the enthusiasm to get things done impatiently.

So the case example he has given me referring to my statement was:

Imagine me driving a car and got stuck in a jam. I tapped my fingers on the driving wheel and got down from the car to investigate the cause of the jam.

I saw a victim lying on the ground and I told the victim off to buzz off because you are simply interrupting our journey home.

And the bloody victim would have to crawl to the corner of the road just to let my car pass that road.

Maybe I just need to draw it out like freya and razzly did. That would be cool ...

If only I have a table to do things like that ...

O Bento ... ja nai ...
Tuesday, May 8, 2007
Poor me. My lunch was just some Korean instant noodle that was because I was initially supposed to help a workmate delivering presents to a school. But somehow the car was full of presents and I got no place to sit. I called up my sister to have lunch together but she was already in another town area.

Man. Thank god there was ice cream for me as dessert during lunch time.
