People mostly have the Monday Blues, but me, I have the monday routine.
For the past few weeks, every Monday night, I would be cooking some food for my friends and myself. Sometimes, I get the whole kitchen team to come and we would have a mini kitchen party, sometimes, it's just a few people, but never fail, every monday night, is malaysian food night.
This is partly because Monday is the last day we work before we get Tuesdays and Wednesdays off because the restaurant we work in is closed. So we take this opportunity to relax and cook and stay up late because we dont need to work the next day.
This is a fun thing to do, cause in a way it cures home-food-sickness( just a tiny bit) and also it promotes the food of my country to my new friends here in Germany. So far, they loved it, and I love it that they loved it. It is so fun for people to enjoy your food no?
Btw, I'm cooking right this very minute and am just waiting for the rice to be done and then we can eat. Guten Appetite!
SO, I went over to Europa-Park yesterday, and MY GOD, it was GREAT!!! Maybe not as great as Disneyland would be but still, it's ranked as one of the best for me.. We went on the SilverSTar, which is build in colaboration with the Mercedes company and the ride was legen... wait for it... DARY!! 75 degree drop angle going at 160km/h is so FUN!( scary for some). The whole day was filled with fun, fun ,fun, fun, fun!
And I think it was our lucky day out, cause the view *ehem* girls * ehem* was also great! Everywhere we looked, you can see something beautiful..! xD

Well, that's about the conclusion from this trip.. Maybe I can go again, maybe this is the 1st and the last time.. Who knows?
The kitchen this week was crazy. Had quite a number of functions to do includin outside catering. Was fun, but also stressful and tiring due to the fact that one of the outside caterings were 2 hours away and by the time I reached back to my room it was 3.30 in the morning and I had to get up to work at 9 am the next day. But then again, all these are nescessary steps in order to gain success no? Cause I personally feel that any success which comes without hard work will never be enjoyed to the fullest, because you dont know how hard it is to get there. Agreed? Yes? No? Dont care.. haha

These are the total drinks drank from the whole night, doesnt look much, but if you look closely, there a bottle of vodka and Jaegermeister which is, for me, quite strong and everything there is empty.
Not like a very crazy party, but I cooked some Malaysian cuisine for my German colleagues and we talked and drinked and had some fun all the way till 4 am in the morning. It was a first, but certainly not the last food party that I'm gonna make!

Hello again, if any of you still remember me. If you dont, it's all my fault. haha
Anyways, just bored and thinking of updating, so I'm giving you some pictures of what I did since I went missing for so long.. I wish I can upload photos straight into blogs instead of having to encript them from somewhere else.. :)
So, the last past was, 1 BLOODY YEAR AGO, damnit, didnt realised it was tht long till I checked the date. So, ok, 1 year ago, I did this,
Location: Brunei Palace
Reason: His Royal Majesty the Sultan of Brunei's birthday celebration
I was in Brunei for a week in July as temporary staff in the kitchen to help production for His Majesty's birthday. Had about 10,0000-30,0000 guests depending on which day of the celebration it was.
After that, I did a half a year of work back in a hotel in my hometown as a Commis 3 ( to those who dont know, it means the third cook). the main reason that I worked in this hotel was just to waste time and gain money while doing it. Was a fun place to work at, but not a place to start a career, practically, it's quite a shitty place to work because of shitty management but then to go as a guest it's quite ok. I quit back in February cause I had enough and also the job had to make way for the next thing in line, which is:~

Current Location: Germany
Position: Trainee
Life status: ENJOYING IT!

Next stop,
Career wise: not sure, it all depends on whether I can get a job in Europe, if not, maybe Sinagapore or something
Travel wise: Liverpool then London. We'll see if there's gonna be enough budget for Spain, if not, then it's ok.
