Confrontation...? Monday, January 24, 2011 If only I could talk to my mother as easily as I talk to my aunts. Telling her about my AP Calculus woes would be much easier. I'm sure that my reasons for wanting to drop it are valid enough to persuade her to say, "OK"... But this incurable fear that petrifies me every time I think of initiating the inevitable conversation about my academic faults seems too immovable right now. The reasons (just so I won't forget): * A higher GPA after dropping. * ...Which leads to a higher likelihood of getting scholarships * More time to find/fill out scholarships * More time for the Hospital Internship I want to complete+ renewing my CPR certification * Possibly more time for volunteering/extra-curriculars * More time for my online class(es) * Happiness/less stress  Comment!
