this girl on facebook posted about how she was searching through pinterest for unique wedding ideas.

...if you are going to take an idea from pinterest, and then use it, then how is that unique?

thoughts? perhaps it's rare, or not common, but it's hardly unique. doesn't unique mean one of a kind? come up with your own idea, dude.

i am writing a story, and it's about 9000 words long right now, and i'm enjoying it a lot. i hope to write a whole book, but that's a lot of words. i'm not sure how many words a short novel should be. i'll just keep writing until i die, i guess.

so, i'm 26 now.

it doesn't feel any different from 25. i guess it's more meaningless. 25 seems like a milestone. i could say i'm a quarter of a century old. i don't want to tell people i'm 26. that doesn't sound as exciting.

hooray for birthdays.

i actually had an awesome birthday though, because my lovely lady made me a steak and potato dinner, along with a delicious salad, and ended the meal with a boston banana cream pie...cake thing. it was delightful.

she also made me a mockingjay emblem from stainless steel. it's ridiculous and awesome.

i spent the last few days at the beach in ocean city, maryland with SporadicFunk. that was tons of fun. it was nice to get away from everything, and spend some time with my woman.

there was an airshow. we didn't find out about it until after several fighter jets flew over our hotel while we were napping. we thought that the country was under attack. that is awfully terrifying.

i got a really stupid sunburn on my body. apparently, covering myself with sunscreen is not my strong suit. there are red patches all over my torso, arms, and legs. oh, and one of the days, i completely forgot to put any on my face at all, so my face was pretty burnt up.

i don't really want to go to work tomorrow, but i guess i'm ready. no one ever really wants their vacation to end.

i'm thirsty. goodnight, nutang.

I got promoted.

The only downside is that i have to stop being friends with coworkers, and start playing leader. Oh well. It's mostly about the Benjamins.
