I love you grandma.

"Pain, you just have to ride it out, hope it goes away on its own, hope the wound that caused it heals. There are no solutions, no easy answers. You just breath deep and wait for it to subside. Most of the time pain can be managed, but sometimes the pain gets you where you least expect it. Hits way below the belt and doesn't let up. Pain, you just have to fight through, because the truth is you can't outrun it and life always makes more."

"Forgive and forget. That's what they say. It's good advice, but it's not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness, old scores are never settled, old wombs never heal, and the most we can hope for is that one day we'll be lucky enough to forget."

.. all day sucks.

I had a headache today. My mom is slowly starting to talk to me again. Ever since we had that argument, I've just been avoiding her. I haven't apologized and I don't think I will. So she's just going to pretend nothing happened as usual and I'll be going along with it till the next argument we get into.

Since I really did nothing today, I really don't have much to say? Who knows, maybe I'll get back to this when something does. It's just one of those days...

This morning I woke up sore, like no other. Agh it's pain, but in some weird way I actually like the feeling of being sore. As usual I took my brother to the babysitter. I tried to get chores done and do my homework, but it just wasn't working. I tried for about 10 minutes then gave up. I thought then, screw class.

So I called Steph and asked if she was going, but she didn't want to go either. We ended up going to to Jamba Juice and then we were going to the beach, but then I thought of the sand dune thing (basically a part of a mountain that's just sand). So I was like yeah sure, since I haven't been there in a while.

We got there and climbed the steep side of it. Gah, it's a bitch to climb it. No really my calves were burning, but once you get up there the view is just breathtaking. You see the sunset perfectly and the way the sun reflects off the ocean is just amazing. Not too mention just staring off far off and just seeing how it seems like the blue ocean never ends.. I could go on.

Steph and I spent a good hour there just enjoying the scenery. It also gave us time to talk and bond, just like what friends should do. We walked down the hill and collected a big flat rock, just for memories sake. We went close to the water and just stayed for a while. I seriously don't take advantage of the beaches here. I literally live 5-15 minutes away depending which beach you wanted to go to here. I don't think I can imagine living anywhere else.

We left at 6:40 and I took her home and I went home myself. I did nothing the rest of the time. I watched The Hills (Jason's a bitch!), Cheyenne (Her & Jason are cute), and of course Project Runway. (= I swear I wish I were creative as them, but I know I can never pull any of those off even if my life depended on it.

While Steph and I were at the sand dune sharing stories, mostly about the past. We talked about people we hung out with and stuff. What's weird is that most of the people I am close to or hang out with all went to the same junior high. Like Jims, Steph, Mel. I was supposed to go to that junior high, but I went to private school after first grade. So just thinking about it, I could've met them a long time ago only if I had stayed in public school and who knows, we could've been friends then?? So that big word FATE comes in. Maybe I was meant to be their friend and that's why I met them in high school and we're friends until now. I don't know, but it's weird ya know?.. thinking about all the what ifs. But yeah, I just wanted to share that. Night. (=
