I love you grandma.

"Pain, you just have to ride it out, hope it goes away on its own, hope the wound that caused it heals. There are no solutions, no easy answers. You just breath deep and wait for it to subside. Most of the time pain can be managed, but sometimes the pain gets you where you least expect it. Hits way below the belt and doesn't let up. Pain, you just have to fight through, because the truth is you can't outrun it and life always makes more."

"Forgive and forget. That's what they say. It's good advice, but it's not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness, old scores are never settled, old wombs never heal, and the most we can hope for is that one day we'll be lucky enough to forget."

I'm always going to feel some angst, whether I hide it or decide to share it. I seriously need to get over myself. But it's hard to find people or things to do that'll take your mind off it.

I spent my whole friday at home once again. Not that I mind, I just wasn't in the mood to go out. I missed Read It and Weep on the Disney Channel. Hahah, I like the Disney Channel. Ha, I'm kinda excited to watch The Cheetah Girls movie next month. Even though I didn't like the first one they made, I only like it because they sing. (=

August! My favorite month! (= Of course that's when my birthday is.. yup. Not only that, it's because isn't August the only month with no special holiday?.. it's also towards the end of summer, The Cheetah Girls Movie comes out! Hahah.. lame, uhh it has my birthday in it. I said that already, but that's all I can come up with.

I have discovered another pet peeve of mine. It bothers me how people sound all smart when they type in their blogs by using all this big vocabulary, but you know they NEVER use them when they talk. It's like they try to be someone they're not. I don't know, but this is the way I normally talk. Whatever, it's just a pet peeve.

So today I tried to freshen up on my guitar skills. I really should take more of an interest now that I have a guitar. I need REAL lessons. Focus on the basics and learn more on a classical level. Yeah right, I can't afford to have lessons.

Oh, I was watching Ripley's and they had a 2 year old boy that could skateboard. He was the cutest ever. He did like little jumps on the board and he would try to do tricks and stuff. He's gonna make it big.

Well my cousin just called and she's at LAX right now waiting for her mom. Yay, I'm excited because she's finally in CA. It gives more family bonding time and who knows maybe even reunite with those I've lost in touch with right? Drama is lame. I always keep myself out of it, when someone tells me something.. I just ignore it. I don't let it affect me as much as I know some people do. I think it's dumb how people who "hear" things let it affect a friendship with someone.. at least hear them out and find out the truth. Know what I mean?!? But yeah I'm getting side tracked. I'm really glad Jen is here. (=

So I went to the beach today with Steph and my brother. The one we went to was a pretty rocky beach. It kinda hurt when the waves would come, but we didn't let the water go past our knees. We mostly just wanted to tan. I made my brother go in the water, but he fell then a wave came and he got stuck and he has a bunch of cuts on his knee. /= He cried a little, but then he just mostly played in the sand.

We stayed for about 2 hours and I took Steph home. I bought my brother food and we went home and did chores and whatnot.

I got real tired around 5ish and I knocked out on the massage chair. Ha, then I remember getting up and going to my room and knocking out again. I didn't fully recover till about 9ish and now I can't go back to sleep. Bummer.

I've been hanging out with Steph most of the time. Which is cool.. it's like we're making up for when she was in Murrieta. I'm sorta talking to Angela right now? Hahah. I don't like going on AIM, I just like to see who's online.. and I know I'm not the only one who does this.

My nails are long, but I'm too lazy to cut it. I usually wait till one of em just rips off, then I'll cut all of em. Ha. Damn you Jeffrey, thanks for calling.. you ruined my train of thought.

Well this is going to be one of my random entries, just because I feel like blabbing. I'm going to just let out whatever is on my mind. (=

Hmm, let's see.. I need to find a job, but I don't want to. I like not working. I don't think I'll look for one till school starts or something. Why is it that, when my friends weren't working, I was the one that was.. and now that I'm not.. they are. Weird huh? In a way, working at Brooks Brothers wasn't bad. The co-workers are great, the customers are okay, and I had no problems there whatsoever. The only thing I didn't like was that the store wasn't me.. I was slowly adjusting myself to it, but I never really fit in to it. Plus, they had too many standards to live up to. Mainly, customer service. It wasn't the regular greet you at the door and occasionaly ask you for help. At Brooks Brothers, you basically had to become their friend and take care of the customer the whole time. I was slowly getting used to it, but befriending strangers wasn't something I was ever used to. Especially when they're about 20+ years older than you and wealthy. One of the main reasons why I quit was because I wanted to be exposed in a new work enviroment and I kinda felt pressured in a way to leave. Not saying I was, but it's one of those things where I felt like I was obligated to leave because my friends aren't there anymore working with me. It was fun when they were there, but I did have fun times with the regular co-workers.

So my summer is good. There's always room for improvement of course. I haven't really lived up to my goals though. I still want to go to San Francisco, go to more shows, go to the beach more often, uhh just have more fun.

You know what I don't like..?! People that brag that their life is so much better than yours.. Or not even that.. How they just say that things are just better than what you have in your life in general. I guess it could be that I'm jealous, but I'm not because I'm really content with what I have.. I just don't feel the need to brag about it. I guess I just take a more subtle approach to it when it comes to sharing things. I know some people are just overjoyed and want people to share their happiness, which is understandable.. but there's a line with being overjoyed and bragging. And you know what?!.. you've crossed it.

Jeffrey Cardona, thanks for calling me. I had a really good conversation with you while I was typing up this blog. Hahaha. I'm glad there are OTHER people out there that put in the effort to call me.. and to my friends that don't.. THANKS because you've just made me realize who my REAL friends are. (=
