i'm getting some insurance for myself and i kinda got depressed with the questions the agent/financial planner asked me.

"where do u see yourself headed to in the future, or are u the happy with what u have type?" - to plan for uncertainty (ie: loss of income, prospect of pay increase/decrease)

"how much do u wanna provide for your mother/dependents if u pass away"

"what short term goals do u have?"

"where would u want to go for holiday next?"

and i answered :"I dunno" for all the above

am depressed with my short sightedness in my life
felt really lost with wat i am supposed to work towards to.

i know u are not supposed to , but i kinda like my agent. she is very capable and experienced and knows what she is doing. anyone interested can ask me for her no.

she usually handles corporate clients unless its word of mouth.

her co, where she i s a partner, is the kind that handles all your financial needs to projecting cashflow to covering your doggie's insurance to life and disability and stuff. an independent financial planner.

happened to watch the sg idols results show

and it struck me that Joquim is soo unfairly treated.

i suppose he is not as talented as Rahima/Matilda/Hadi/Jon and the like. BUT it is really v digusting the way that when Ken said "I believe that Singaporeans will make the right choice" and the camera panned the contestants, conveniently cutting Joquim from the shot.

and even when the camera is panning for the finale shot, joqium is mysteriously missing from the shot. thoi can see him with the far shots.

even the DJs are making fun. "Don't vote for your favourite idol! Vote for the talented idol!"

and poor Joquim, even tho he is the bottom 3 this time round, he was trying to cheer he parents? fans? his sign laguage/body language clearly says, "Its ok, smile"

such a nice boy.

and i noticed that he was always shocked when he managed to pass to the next round. esp when pple whu was stronger den him got voted out. u could almost see his face register "It should have been me. I'll rather it be me."

and his face gets grimmer everytime he goes to the next round. coz he knows he is gonna get more comments putting him down.

and he remembers a time when everyone cheered for him to prove Ken wrong. haiz
