Sooo, I am officially on medicine to control my morning (and afternoon, and evening, and middle of the night...) sickness. After a lovely bought of waking up at 2am and running to the toilet and vomitting so hard that it made me wet myself, I though this can't be healthy. The next day I work I decided to weigh myself, and I had gone from 146lbs to 138lbs in less than a week. That prompted me to call my doctor bc I wasn't able to hold any food down, barely any liquids, I couldn't sleep and was just overall in shit shape. Well apparently they make meds to control this..Thank God!! I had never heard of this before, but I guess they don't want people just trying to avoid slight bouts of nausea or something. Either way, I feel great! I'm on my second day of the meds, and I slept all the way through the night last night. I have eaten normal meals both days, small meals, but not too small by any means.

It doesn't look like a baby yet lol. I had to have one to see how far along I was bc my lady time wasn't a reliable source. I am 6 weeks, due May 2nd and we were able to hear the babies heart beat. It was awesome. I had a vaginal ultrasound, and I guess that made it easy for us to hear the heart really loud and pretty early. Before they didn't think we'd be able to hear it until at least Sept. 13. I thought I might pass out because I had to hold my breath for us to be able to hear it (I guess it could pick up on my breathing?) and I held it for over a minute bc I wanted to keep hearing it lol. Anyhoot. If you click on the thumbnail it will take you to the picture. It's so tiny and doesn't look at all human lol.

AAARRRRGGGGHHH. I am sick of being tired when I'm sleeping 10 hours a night and taking occasional naps. I'm sick of peeing every 10 minutes even if I don't drink anything. And I am DEFINATELY sick of this constant feeling like I have to puke, or puking. Not to mention how sick Marc probably is of me crying. I was crying last night because I was worried he was getting annoyed with me crying so much. Thankfully he is a wonderful man who takes it all in stride and wouldn't dare get mad at me for acting like a crazy hormonal mad woman, when he wants this child as much as I do. Not all parts of prenancy are bad either. For example, I am NOT sick of my boobs getting bigger each and every day lol!!

I went to the doctor today, now she is saying I could be as far as 6-7 weeks, and before we thought I was only 5 weeks. Tomorrow I am supposed to go a vaginal ultrasound (lucky me) to find out excatly how far along I am. Even though I am not particularly excited about having an overpriced stick of technology jammed up my lady parts, I am really excited about knowing for sure how far along I am and when I can expect to meet my wonderful love child lol. I can't wait to know!! Whoot!

Yay!! I'm due at the beginning of may and I'm ridiculously excited. We already have names picked out =) If it's a boy he will be Miles Hunter Phillips and if it's a girl she will be Savannah Jane Phillips.

Too bad I have a couple more months before we'll know which name we're going with lol.
