Today has been a long day. I got the treadmill put together at least. And I worked some more on my cross stitch. I did forget that it was a holiday, though. Not until we had no mail today. Then I remembered it was Columbus Day, lol.

Mom bought Jurassic Park from Goodwill. I didn’t like this movie the first time. I still don’t like this movie, lol. Another movie she picked up was Toy Story. My little brother used to love that movie. Aubree has a Buzz Lightyear doll that she loves. Guess what. I hate that movie too.

I’ve had a busy day. It started off with emailing some people that requested information about advertising, that was simple enough. The hard came after mom got back with the treadmill. The treadmill that happened to be too wide to go through the door. So I tried to unscrew the handle and found I didn’t have a wrench that size. So then I had to go buy one. Then I spent at least 45 minutes unscrewing them because they didn’t want to come undone. Now I gotta wait until tomorrow to put it all together because I need new nuts.

I’ve got some more good news! Mom won an ebay auction for a treadmill and since it is pick up only she’s leaving tomorrow to go get it with a friend of hers that has a pick up truck. It’s a little over 2 hour drive one way. Since I’m staying home I should be thankful for that time. I have a lot of people to email about advertising. I should be able to get them all done at once during the day tomorrow. I was a little disappointed about not going, but I think it’s mostly for the best.

I have good news! I weighed myself and I’ve lost 9 more lbs to make it 14lbs total that I’ve lost. I was very excited and very shocked to see how much I’d lost in this past week. All I can do is hope that I will continue to lose weight. So that was the exciting moment for today. I knew I felt like I’d lost more weight, but I just chalked it up to wishful thinking. At least I was right about that!

In other news, it seems that the weather has turned into something like a second summer.

I picked up a cross stitch today and it’s kind of fun. It is of a bunny holding a heart and it says, “Somebunny’s Angel” in the heart. It’s got a butterfly and flowers around it. I’ve got most of the butterfly finished and part of one flower.

Does anyone here enjoy doing cross stitches? I used to know a guy that liked them. I told him that makes him weird, but he was also raised around nothing but girls, lol. He could also crochet, and sew I think. That’s better than me. I can crochet, but I can’t sew.

Today has been a pretty boring day. Really boring actually. Nothing to do today which really sucked. Although I found out it costs $.90 to mail a letter to my Australian penpal. I hate going to the post office.

Oh, I called planned parenthood today and they got me set up with an appointment for next Thursday because that’s their first day there. So I am all set with that, thank goodness.

My “weigh in” is coming up on Friday. I hope I have lost more weight. I feel like I have, ya know? Just doesn’t mean my scale agrees.
