Wow it's been a while since I posted. Not that much has happened, unfortunately. Still working, still living in Vegas, still with my girlfriend, still.... everything. lol.

The only real piece of news is that I finally bought a domain name for my non-religious forum, and it should be up any day now. If anyone is interested, it'll be at outsidethebubble.info. Hasn't propagated yet though, so for the new day or two it'll just be a 404 error.

Ahhh... so glad Nutang is back. Even though I never post, it's still nice to come poke around.

I've neglected making a real entry for far too long. So here it is. Stuff (both good and bad) has actually happened since my last entry.

I had my driving test for my driver's license a few weeks back. Failed, because the guy who tested me was an asshole. Seriously. He docked me points for a) going 2 miles over the speed-limit in a school zone, on a downhill street. I had my foot on the break, I was only accelerating because it was downhill.. And for me to have gone exactly the speed limit, I would have had to be looking right at the speedometer the whole time instead of looking at the road like a sane person. That's not all. Apparently I didn't stop long enough at a stop sign to satisfy him, even though a), I was turning right, b) there was a dead end to the left and straight, and c) there were no cars or people!!!

So word of advice for anyone reading this who lives in Vegas. Do NOT! Under any circumstances take your driving test at the Henderson DMV. I will be retaking mine in Summerlin, as soon as I get around to it. It's not like that fat fuck changed anything anyway. I'm still driving. Have been for 3 years now, license or no. And haven't been pulled over once or gotten into any accidents. So obviously I know what the fuck I'm doing behind the wheel. Which is more than I can say for more than half the driver's in this city.

Anyway. Christmas. I got a playstation 3, and my grandma died. My mom died on my dad's birthday, and my grandma (mom's mother) died on christmas. Lovely. Mostly I feel sorry for my dad. It's rough on him. But I'm also relieved for him, because now he doesn't have to take care of her. Maybe he'll be able to get on with his life now. That might sound harsh, but my grandma has been less than healthy for a while now, and gravely ill for months, so I'd pretty much accepted the fact that she was going to die before she actually passed away.

But other than that, christmas was good. Our first christmas (me and Jenn) together since we moved here. We both spent way too much on each other. Heh.

Anyway, sorry I haven't been around the last few weeks. I've been neglecting several online duties for various reasons. Besides being distracted by the playstation 3, lately I just haven't felt that creative. (And no, they're not related. Heh. I have time to work on the website at work, but I always end up reading.) Just can't seem to get my brain into the kind of place it needs to be to get work done. Which is a bummer. But I should get there eventually. I think it may have more to do with working graveyard. After a while, it just starts sapping all the creativity out of you. Mostly because of the lack of sleep.

I'll be enjoying my last christmas present on Friday. Jenn got us tickets to see Secondhand Serenade at the House of Blues, which will be awesome. Looking forward to it.
