Today was alright. I had my appointment at Planned Parenthood and because of my blood pressure, I might be taken off of what I use, I explained that I have a doctor appointment for it, etc. We’ll see how that goes.

As for some good news, I got my money today and I was able to go shopping. I bought Aubree a present for Christmas a little early. It’s a Dora the Explorer doll that she can dress up and brush her hair. Aubree’ll love it. I also bought a book of knitting patterns which has easy patterns in it.

I have a headache today. And I’m generally grumpy, but one good thing did happen. A while back I got a letter stating that if I got Aubree’s blood tested for lead that they’d send me a free gift card. I’d just had it done something like a week before, so I filled it out and mailed it in. Today I got a free $10 gift card for Meijer. I bought some Mountain Dew. I like it and the cans are returnable. Then I usually return the cans to the store when I need some extra money for whatever reason.

My money finally deposited into my bank account, which means I get to go to town tonight. I get to buy the sandals I need. I get to buy diapers for Aubree. Then I get to be broke again.

Or do I get to go to town? It rained freezing rain last night. The roads are icy. I will not take moms’ car anywhere when the roads are icy, because I would be darn scared of crashing her car. Not to mention the butt kicking she would give me if I did hurt her car. Let’s just hope it melts.

Last night was… eventful. I wasn’t really in all that of a good mood and I don’t know why. I just felt generally grumpy. So I hoped that going shopping would cheer me up. It did, a little. I wasn’t able to get a MP3 player, though. They were sold out, which I suspected they might be. The ad comes out on Wednesday, and they’re always “sold out” by Friday.

I did go out to eat though. Yummy foods always cheer me up. Yummy and totally unhealthy foods, anyway. I got a small steak and some shrimp noodle mixture. Yummm.

Today was a great day! My mom loaned me some money and I went to our local goodwill to see if they had any clothes in my size. Unfortunately they only had one shirt that fit me, but I did find 2 nice pairs of shoes in my size [for only $2.50 each]. The shoes are in pretty decent condition and look nice. The shirt I got is really nice too. Mom bought me a pilates 2 DVD set that includes the band for exercises at biglots. I can’t wait to start doing that, too. Has anyone here tried pilates?

So it’s Saturday, and I hate Saturday’s. I had to go grocery shopping… which sucked. Sure, I love to shop. I hate shopping on a weekend, though. And today was the exact reason why. It was extremely crowded. I walked behind every possible slow person ever. Then I got to be the person everyone hates to be in line behind because I had a stack of coupons to be used also. It got better being home, though. I was just happy to sit down once all the groceries were put away. And thankfully the pain in my arms went away.
