I was wondering if it would be possible to have more than one skin/template that you can rotate out on your blog.

A friend wants to design a new template for me but I'd like to keep the one I have so I thought it would be interesting if readers could choose which template they like.

Is that like the Square face layout where you can click on the different ones to change the colors? You could do something like that on a bigger scale right?

Hmm. Changing the skin totally... can be done w/ some javascript. That's how I did the square face effect thing. However, it would much more javascript to change the entire theme, though, certainly doable.

Couldn't you just save the code for one of your templates in your
Memo Pad or something? :O

The Javascript is indeed doable. It's just a matter of who has enough time to do all that.

Sometimes--alright, a lot of times--my mood changes and I don't feel like having to change my entire layout to match. A dark and moody entry against a bright cheery background...>.<
In that aspect, yes, the idea's pretty cool. ^-^ I like it, but that would be alot of work. And that would be pretty hard for people who are not geniuses like dave and are non-fluent like middaymoon and me. XP

I just might give it a shot and see what I can do but I am doing some heavy work on The Mercury System so my time would be divided and may be quite a while...but I may be able to help if someone hasn't done it before I get to it =0)
