Why do invite codes keep popping up? I'm basically a shut in hermit who doesn't know very many people and is very bad at "selling" things to people since I don't have the cute excited strong point like Kuri. I feel bad they keep popping up since I know I won't be using them. Razzly was a fluke and only happened because I posted my blog in our blog ring and she happened to need a new place for her comic blog.

just find a friend and give it to them! put the code in an email, paper, watever. ^-^

The invite codes are only there if you want them. Rather than that, no one is here to plug NuTang, just your own blog where and how you want to promote your NuTang site. If a NuTang Member wants to also plug NuTang, well then NuTang thanks them NuTang much. BTW: I like hermits cause I too am a proud hermit!

When judging an invite request (http://www.nutang.com/baby/invite_moderate/), I think the most important field is their previous blog. Always check that to see if the person's a good fit to the community. I've noticed that some people have kinda pure informational blogs.. like this one guy's blog only had pics of watches, nothing else.. wtf?

Sometimes, their "why I deserve an invite" blurb might be crappy, but their blog is cool. In that case, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and either release a precious invite code.. or just leave the request there for someone else to judge.

So don't delete them all so fast! There was one--I checked out her xanga and it seemed pretty good. But when I went back to the queue, someone had deleted her already! I only found her again because she commented on mine.

A good way to earn more is actually using the ones you already have. You get queued up more frequently by the invite generation machine if you are in need of invites.

@ silver: i left her a comment on her xanga, and she responded by saying that she would check something that night, and never got back to me. im commenting her again. lol
