After watching the first episode, I thought this show totally sucked. However, due to my merciful nature, I watched a few more episodes and now I think the show is awesome.

It's a lot like Lost. There's an underlying sci-fi story that will explain everything, but for the time being, the viewers remain pretty much lost (but hooked).

Anyone else watch this show?

Is it really Peter that explodes? When they mentioned the exploding man I thought they were referring to the radioactive one who inadvertently killed his wife with his power a few episodes back.

I thought about that too, that'd be crazy if Peter really is the exploding man. I wonder how, where and when this power was acquired.

The last episode was sooooo good. Peter probably absorbed the radioactive guy's powers in order to save him with the thought that he could control the power? Peter seems to be on a "save the world" tirade. :D He's hott tho.

Mm, Heroes came on last night after over a month off. Heroes makes me so happy. I was so sad when Alias went off the air last year and Lost only truly kicked in at the end of last season (this season has been awesome and I can't wait for it to come back on!) but when Heroes came on I was overjoyed.

First of all... I like television! Not like, all television... But the shows that I do watch, I am very passionate about! Heroes was right up my alley, so of course I started watching it - but another one of my favorite shows (the one that's the complete opposite of all the other shows I watch) is Gilmore Girls and my second favorite actor in the world was on that show, which is where I found him years ago - Milo Venitmiglia. I love him. My first favorite actor is Ewan McGregor and I am beyond obsessed with him... but we won't get into that, so this is Milo, a lovely, healthy second.. but Gilmore Girls .. he left! And he went to this other show that I knew was going to fail and then I got scared that he might disappear into the night like so many actors do... but then...

The first night of Heroes!!! Our television was a little messed up because the wire was being retarded but we were watching anyway and suddenly I heard this voice and I swear... I ran over to the television and touched the screen and screamed, "Is that Jess?" Jess would be Milo's name on Gilmore Girls and it was!!!!! I was so happy! He must have only been cast recently because I checked IMDB and Wikipedia both for him not two months before that and the only thing he was doing was his show and the Rocky movie, but then he was there... and not only that, he's like... extremely important! I was so happy.

Oh. He's Peter! I love Peter. I love Heroes. I was already going to love it but that made me .... so happy! It was fate! The show is amazing and just like I posted on my journal, at the moment NBC.com has all the episodes online whereas they usually only have last week's up and the rest only have recaps, but since the show was off for a month I think they want people to get into it and remember and the like, so you really should go and check them out if you have not!

I run a community for Heroes elsewhere. I really love it! It's so excellent and last night was sexy. Okay... done ranting! Whee.

I was sad when Eden died. If I had a power I would want her power. She was kind of like a Jean Grey.

I think Officer Parkman is more like Jean Grey. Eden's more like that guy who was Stryker's son in X2 the movie. But Eden's power is cool nonetheless.

Now I wonder if Mohinder is on the list, too.
