I creat a module and want to put my recent entries on my site, but it just doesn't show out the list of my recent entries, and I see a few of you guys can do that, what happen to my site?

Normally when you use the module this ---> LATESTENTRIES%%%% will automatically be in the box. Let's say you want to display 5 entries so you type 5 after the "%%%%" sign. So it becomes "LATESTENTRIES%%%%5". Tell me if I am confusing you even more because I tend to do that in explaining things.
