Is there a fear of forgetting something or thinking that you're forgetting something? Maybe it's just paranoia. Whenever I'm leaving on a trip instead of double checking I have everything, I check like five times. I usually do end up forgetting one thing...

One major fear (at least the only one I can think of right now) I have is driving or riding in a car that's in the middle or just next to a big automobile like a truck or bus. I don't know the name for that

I remember when I was at the Philippines.. I was sitting, playing ps1 w/my cousin & his uncle & then i was barefoot under the table.. one flew like RIGHT ON MY FOOT.

& I. hella. screamed.

I swiped it off as fast as I could.. & it was nowhere to be found afterwards..

when I looked at my foot, there were a couple of marks ..i thought it bit me! but i guess it was just it's legs that scratched my skin =[

oh! & i so totally HATE flying insects.

Well now I remember a fear that I'm starting to conquer. I have this huge fear of worrying about what people think. It's stupid... I know... When I'd perform in a recital I would worry about forgetting a few notes or one part I knew I practiced a lot. I was worried that I would forget everything and people would throw cantaloupes at me. Fine, I didn't think they'd throw fruit at me; I just thought that I would disappoint everyone-- you know? And the silence, the people who would yawn, whisper to another, shuffle in their seats, or fall asleep didn't help to the situation.

It's not until this year that I realized that performing in those recitals was not some contest like on American Idol. Whether I perform spectacularly or miserably, I don't win a million dollars or become some pop star with the overplayed one-hit wonder. Performing in those recitals is just showing people how you have progressed through the year. It's like a showcase of your effort. And d*** (not sure if we can use those words in here... so just in case it's censored) did I put on a great performance this year at my final recital. I knew the piece was simple but I think I was able to play it with substance and a conscience. I performed at the Staller Center in Stony Brook University with ease. I was basically talking to myself thinking that I should dedicate my hard work to someone. Wow I'm really going on a long tangent. sorry guys!

Anyway I was able to put aside this fear. Well I haven't completely gotten over it, but I'm working on it. So yeah... I have a fear of worrying what people think.

Ok Sha, my whole fear with driving next to big automobiles comes from walking home one day. In my neighborhood we have a lot of narrow streets. This story is taken place during the winter and it just the snowed the night before. Adding to the 1-2ish feet of snow packed on both sides of the road are cars on both sides of the road. Plus a lot of the snow froze making the roads a slight bit slippery. The road I was walking down (along with a friend) had only enough room for one car to go through at a time. So I was walking on the road and this bus decides to go through without thinking twice. I'm thinking shoot because the space is tiny. The bus driver doesn't even slow down. As it's going by us my friend continues to walk while I stay still and hug the car that i'm right next to. It probably wasn't that big of a deal but the whole time I thought that if I just continued walking I'd slip and fall under the bus and it would crush me.

Fear of not having internet access at least every day if not every hour.
Fear of being stepped on.
Fear of no one commenting on my weblog.
Fear of hot temperature.
Fear of flying insects, ones that sting and leave a big itchy bump on your skin.
Fear of my little cousin stealing my Nintendo DS from me.

I used to live in an apartment where to make the most out of the room space we had our beds put beside the wall. I was beside the window. The window was 1 inch higher than my mattress. I can turn around and be beside the window...

There was an earthquake once. I suddenly thought, "if this was my time, oh well...", and went back to sleep. Others did find me weird.

I once had a friend who bought a pet python. (THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO MAKE THIS SOUND DIFFERENT FROM WHAT YOU WILL PROBABLY BE THINKING, BUT ANYWAY). He has a pet python sleeping in the terrarium after eating a small rodent. he told me to pat it and I was scared because it was a snake. He was able to justify by explaining that pythons aren't poisonous, and this one is too small to swallow me. After that day, pythons don't scare me anymore.
