Just wondering, how often do you go concerts? How often do your friends go to concerts?

I go about once a year, my last being guns n' roses back in May.

The last time I've been 2 a concert, I saw J-Pop group MAX peform at Anime USA.... I haven't really been to that many.... Gavin Degraw came to our University in 2004, J-Rock band PLC was at the Katsucon convention I went to last year and did a concert there, The Average White Band played at Fort Lee for our Fireworks special back in August, and I saw MAX just back in November.. so that's all of them I've been to.

I try to go to a concert at least once a year, but no one comes to Denver and it sucks :(

The last concert I went to was Muse in July.

I have never been to a concert. :'(

One day, I will attend one, and it will fill the void in my life.....

I don't go to enough concerts. I have the talent for leaving the country at the wrong time. Big Day Out, sob sob sob.

I use to go to a show at the 930 club in Washington DC every other weekend because there only 15 bucks a ticket and well known bands play there, so it's an awesome deal 'cause it's such an intimate show 'cause the venues SO small.

It's winter break, the time of the year when I have a lot of time and feel the need to start another site. Let me know your thoughts on this idea: a social networking site dedicate to show-goers (I guess not necessarily concerts).

Every show will its own page, that will display all members who are attending (or have attended). Each show page will have sections for members to upload pics, mp3s, start discussion threads, etc.

Is this something you'd join? Do you think others would join such a site?

I like music but I don't think I'd join that. I haven't been to any concerts and even if I was a regular attender, I would probably just discuss it in my blog.

I dunno, I would have 2 see how that idea comes out.... That sounds interesting.. but I'm not to sure if it will work out so good....

Well some years I go to 25+ concerts. Some years only a handfull. Now if you'll count local shows (Philly shows) then some years I see closer to 100. It all depends on money and work schedule. Nice thing about my area is that at some point most bands come here and some come pretty often. It rocks. Pun intended. i guess.
