That explained why I have been hiding at home to reduce sound exposure to my ears. Why went buzzing? That's because I have increased the hours usage of listening to my mp3 player via earphones. The nerves in my ear have been wringing in pain and I ignore it. And a few days later ... it went buzzing in my ears. Temporary hearing loss?? No way!! But this is the fact I have to accept: my eardrums are taking a shorter time to go deaf... No more the days of having the eardrums vibrating at the slower rate when we get older... I'm getting it at a young age i guess... And ... earphones might have bacteria too.... need to clean it once in a while... I'm gibbering about the disadvantages of headphones? Read it yourself at BBC News 7 Comments. Scary. I already have bad hearing and sometimes I worry that it'll get worse. You really shouldn't listen to your music that loud. Oh, and what did you mean that I should be tagged? Tagged how? What do you mean? » elessar257 on 2008-09-02 12:14:09 As far as bacteria goes, I like to wipe mine off with a lysol disenfecting wipe every couple of weeks when I change out my ear bud covers. Plus when you change earbud covers you can change colors and styles =) » lyndeep on 2008-09-02 03:00:03 Ohhh boy. That's why you should always use the over-the-ear, large headphones. They give you better sound quality (if you buy good enough ones) and aren't close enough to the eardrum to do AS immediate damage. » Unicornasaurus on 2008-09-02 06:06:32 re: That it might be, indeed. :D I was actually thinking about it. » Unicornasaurus on 2008-09-02 11:07:04 I hear that annoying beep in my ears every now and then. I don't know why and I don't know how, it just happens. » Nuttz on 2008-09-02 11:30:37 Have you been putting the volume up high? If so, maybe you should try investing in a nice pair of noise canceling headphones? Your ears are important! Keep them healthy please~ =) » Brian (58.191.155.98) on 2008-09-03 12:47:01 What do you mean?
