mood: Waking up
Howdy, all, to my brand-spanking new edition of my "how to make some spare cash on the 'net". I've got a lovely list of around 10 sites that really do pay, and it's all done either via e-mail or generally online. Either way it all goes into my PayPal account or comes to me via check.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not making "$40,000" a month or whatever, not by any means. In fact, I'm actually only making around $50 a month at the moment, while checking out certain niche markets and generally seeing how much money I can actually make without spending any of my own! Hoorah.
Over the coming weeks I'll be posting what I've found, as well as new ideas that are coming up. This isn't dodgy advertising though, so don't worry. I'll be writing a review of the site/service and give my true opinion of what I'm talking about.
For a taster as to wha's coming up, there's things like;
Get paid to complete surveys, read your e-mails, promote ad pages, sign up for offers, to drive your car and to shop.
Web-based ideas (i.e. you'll need your own website to support these ideas) include sell your ad space, generate a healthy banner cpm which will help you make a little bit of side cash (up to about $10 a week ish) as well as another paid-banner service which pays monthly just for having the ads on your site.
Now, you'll notice there won't be anything like "Google AdSense/Adwords made me millions!" on these pages, and that's because, quite simply, I'm not wandering into those regions just yet. Besides, AdWords requires a payment to display your ads before you do anything, so that's spending money, and adsense is good for a high-traffic site due to the click through rate and cpm payment you get. I think I earnt about $1.50 over a month the last time I worked with AdSense on my other blog, which crashed and burned! Oh deary me.
Finally there's wholesale and dropshipping. Basically, this is what eBay PowerSellers do. They never touch their stock, and get another company to ship it to their customers! Lovely jumbly.
So that's what I'm doing here. I heard this community is a blast, so I popped over and checked it out, and now I'm bringing in my ideas!
A bit about me - as you can tell from my profile, I'm 19. Studying Music at college, and I'll be studying it some more when I start Uni in September! Then I'll be using it as a career for the rest of my life. As a private guitar teacher, to composer for games/tv/film. Woohoo!
