I Do Believe In Captain Crunch
Saturday. 6.5.04 12:06 am
Dark and drizzling, steem was creaping up from the hard wet cement below. A sharp screetch emitted from the ground, as the tires made hard love to the wet cement. They couldn't help but cry out each time the pulsating engine thundered to a roar again and again. In and out, it swayed to the rhythm of the winding road and the tires struggled to keep their sinful unity with the cement.

Well maybe it wasn't quite that romantic, but it was good. It was rainy today, but supprisingly, I enjoyed driving in it. Probobly mostly because of the steam that was coming up from the road. It was wierd, driving on the dimly lit roads with steam coming up from the ground, and lightning overhead. I was listening to Frizzle Fry, by Primus. It seemed to fit the situation well. When the music fits, it is always a plus.

For I am the Frizzle Fry! Yes I am the Frizzle Fry!

Blog Facelift
Thursday. 6.3.04 3:38 am
So yeah I've been kinda messing around with my blog... making it look different... I dunno how well it is working out to be honest... I've had some troubles... Decided not to go with a background for the whole page... Cause everything jsut got wierd... and Making the entries transparent and stuff really made it hard to read... so yeah... I just gave the entries their own backgrounds..

The pictures are pictures of the inside of my computer through the case window... Kinda blurry but that's cause it was dusty and I used a webcam... errr I mean I did that on purpose for effect... hehe... Anyways... I'm not sure if the entries are too hard to read now or not... I made them bold... but I just don't know...

Anyways I had a cool 3d background I made... but I changed it... you can see some of my better 3d scenes I've made here: http://www.geocities.com/zigrune/Sanctuary1.html?1077608602381 Actually it's just three pictures of the same thing that I made... And yeah the site has bandwidth problems cause it is geocities, and the pictures are huge... so if it is down... just try back in like an hour or two.

So yeah I just toned down the background to make it easier to read... I'm worried it looks stupid now though, cause you can't tell what it is very well now at all... I mean it looked alot cooler the other way... just harder to read... now it is easy to read... but alot less cool looking... What to do... what to do.... I think I'm outa ideas for the night... I'll prolly fix it up better tomorrow or something.

Anyways let me know how my blog looks and if it is hard to read

Dr. Jones
Tuesday. 6.1.04 2:16 am
Ok, so is it just me, or is Indiana Jones the man? I mean... I can't think of many people that are cooler than good ol Dr. Jones. Oh, and I'd just like to add that Harrison Ford is the man. Anyways, I really feel like watching all the Indiana Jones movies now...

So yeah they got that DVD box set... that would be awsome... but I need money. I guess I'll have to wait until after I get a job to get that box set. I think it will definately be worth the money anyways. I mean, I can't think of any better movies I could buy... Besides maybe upgrade my VHS version of Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, to the DVD version.

Oh and did I mention that Indiana Jones has awsome style? Yeah that's right, his cloths are awsome... Well mostly just the hat and jacket. Anyways, I looked for his jacket... apparently a company called Wested made all of the Indiana Jones jackets... and you can buy them too! Only problem is... they are $250 or more... oh well... there goes that idea.

So yeah... I think I'll get his hat anyways. I love Indian Jones's fedora hat.. it's totally bad ass. I see them all the time on ebay... I just don't know what material to get one in... I mean does anyone out there know what Indian Jones's fedora hat is made of????? I'd really like to know. Well either way, I'm gunna get one that looks like his, and wear it all the time.

OMG Indiana Jones rocks!

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Sunday. 5.30.04 1:27 pm
So what can I say about a band like Black Sabbath? Well, I shouldn't have to say anything, cause I'm sure everyone has heard this band a bazillion times... But yeah... Black Sabbath is more of a legend than a band. I seriously don't think there is a heavy metal band or hard rock band in the world that can say they are better than Black Sabbath.

Ok so if you didn't know it, Black Sabbath was the band that pritty much created heavy metal... yeah... they are kinda like the original heavy metal band... crazy huh? Black Sabbath is to heavy metal, as the beatles are to rock and roll. Not to mention the father of heavy metal, Tony Iommi, is the lead guitarist for Black Sabbath... Yeah he is the man responsible for it all... not Ozzy like some of you might think... In fact, they kicked Ozzy out of the band.

So anyways... I listen to Black Sabbath alot... it really creates a wierd atmosphere... it's like no matter what time of day it is, and no matter how brightly lit your room is... when you listen to it, it feels like the middle of the night... Go figure... Oh, and it also has this destructive feeling... all their songs do... Don't really know how to describe it any better... It's just interesting when a band can really create a mood right when you start listening to them.

So if you are into hard rock/heavy metal... there is really no excuse for you not having listened to Black Sabbath... In fact, if you haven't, I recommend that you go and purchase a greatest hits cd ASAP.

Oh Lord Yeah!

Well this list isn't near as bad as most of the lists I've seen come out of sites like that... Tony Iommi is at top right were he should be... after all, he is the father of heavy metal. I woulda liked to see Rhandy (RIP), Dime, and Wylde closer to the top though... those guys are all tons better than Hammett and Hetfield...

Scott Ian is only 31!!!! that's rediculous... and Michael Angelo Batio is 98!!!!! WTF... first off I'd just like to state that Ian rocks my world and Batio is the fastest shredder hands down... they shoulda definately ranked higher... Oh well... I guess this is a poll more based on popularity than skill

This is my personal list of favorite guitarists:
Dimebag Darrell
Zakk Wylde
Tony Iommi
Rhandy Roads
Scott Ian
Buckethead
Michael Angelo Batio
Dave Mustaine
Dave Murray
Andre Olbrich
Pepper Keenan

Tony Iommi, Dimebag Darrell, Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhoads... that's how the first 4 shoulda been on guitar world

Ok lets hear some people's opinions on this giant list
