Paul talks too much. Friday. 4.2.04 5:15 pm There was an NCBI meeting today during lunch. One of those special "no good reason" kind of meetings. They gave us cake to "celebrate everyone's birthday". So Katelyn, Vanessa and I were singing "a very merry unbirthday", which was pretty entertaining. We talked about the Seaside High Culture Party tomorrow night at the Oldemeyer Center, the Big Sur Marathon, and the workshop we'll be presenting at the middle school. We also talked about really random things, such as the March edition of the Sandpiper, and Phil Keebler's bias opinions about a transsexual playing in the WLPGA tours. Oh yeah, we had to listen to Paul McEnroe talk and argue a lot. Paul annoys me with great intensity. Not only does he have this incessant need to add-in his say to every matter, but he loves to argue about really unimportant things. News Flash-- This isn't Paul world. Welcome to reality, things are NOT always the way you want them to be. --End News Flash. As I mentioned before, we were talking about Phil Keebler's article, and some of the positive and negative aspects to his arguement. We agreed on writing a letter noting how Phil, was right in certain viewpoints that this woman shouldn't be in the women's league, because she was in fact, a man. Having the genetic codings of a male makes it unfair competition for the other women in the league. Although, it was wrong on Phil's part that he refused to acknowledge that this woman is in fact a woman, not an "it". So what does Paul have to say? He goes on about how they won't publish our letter because we're belittling the person who wrote it. Um, hello?! Then how do those letters to Alex get published? Magic? Idiot-boy. Even if they don't want to publish it, it would show what disregard they have for other opinions and it will make them[the newspaper] look bad. Then we started to talk about the end-of-the-year NCBI party. We're thinking, "Hey, let's do this on May 1" Paul says, "No! We can't do it on that day, because that's the ONLY day I'll be able to see my friends from Monterey whom I haven't seen for a year. Blah blah blah...." By then I'm really getting iritated, and I was like, "Well, not everyone can work with your schedule, you should make some sacrifices, because there's tests and other events we talked about at the last meeting that would get in the way, so you should pick which of the two is most important to you." Ms. Sutton got mad at me, so I kind of tuned out the rest of the meeting, and talked with Vanessa. A few subjects go by, and Paul is talking and talking... Up comes the subject of the rally next Friday. Before we actually start to say what we think of it... Paul says, "I have a problem with the rallies." Vanessa wispers to me, "too bad that's not the only thing." Ms. Sutton looks at us funny. So Paul goes on about how it's dumb that the Fresh, Soph, Junior and Senior classes are separated into their own designated sections. Also, how the classes shouldn't have the competitions because it derides the pride of the freshman class. ALSO, how the rallies shouldn't revolve around sports. uhhh, HELLO!? 1. Yes, the rallies are dumb, so what's the point in making it something meaningful?! Nobodys going to listen anyway. 2. If you haven't noticed, this school is revolved around sports, regardless of how terrible we are (with an exception of track and XC). and 3. What kind of high school would this be if we didn't poke at the Freshman? None of them are actually taking it seriously... except for Paul that is. So Marielle tells Paul to go in on Tuesday and complain to ASB because Tuesday is an open forum day, or something. I don't know, it was all really dumb. I don't know. Paul just really bothers me. It's kind of sad because the purpose of NCBI, is technically to tolerate people different from yourself. Getting mad at Paul TOTALLY defeats the purpose of my being in NCBI. TV time Thursday. 4.1.04 9:27 pm I was watching Friends tonight... It was the one when Monica's helping Chandler get into shape, and Rachel gets jealous of Julie. Ross is going to buy a cat for Julie and him to share.... One of the earlier episodes... and Ross figures out that Rachel likes him. and they get all emotional and start to fight... and I start to cry. I'm so pitiful. Will and Grace was cute tonight. I was so happy when Jack took Karen back as his best friend! and when Grace approved of Vince. I was like, "YAY!!" And on The Apprentice- Troy, Kwame and Bill should've won. NOT Nick and Amy. I read the one about Pepsi taking over school, and I was like, "I didn't see the Pepsi banner this morning..." Oh yah, you April Fool. "Rallies are the coolest thing ever!" -Alex Felsinger Speaking of, we have a rally next Friday. A "spring break" kickoff rally. I am *so* excited. All next week is "Spring Break kick off week" what is our school coming to? We're supposed to wear hawaiian and beach clothes to school on Tuesday, and it's fucking freezing. Our school is dumb. Oh yeah, I was talking to Lillian(right?) and we were talking about Sadie Hawkins(tomorrow) and the matchmaker lists... Here's my matchmaker list from last year... Because I said Robby was my brother(even though he's not), and Ian's like, "You mean like black people? who say "ya, we brothas" So I said that and he's like, "shut up Jamie, you're not allowed to talk anymore." During Biology Kylie and I got really bored, so she drew pictures, while I told her what to draw. So I'm going to make a story with it.... Fuzzball the Fuzz Fuzzball the pink Fuzz has had a long day, and he is very tired. To his dismay, he can't seem to fall asleep. So he decides to take a walk, and all of a sudden, Hobbes the tiger appears right out of thin air! Fuzzball says outloud, "Look! I've made a friend!" but Hobbes says, "Mhmmm! I'm hungry! You look tasty!" Fuzzball says, "Oh no! Someone save me!" Consequently a bomb sits in front of Hobbes, to prevent Hobbes from eating Fuzzball. Luckly, to save Fuzzball from being blown up by the bomb, a white magic bunny dropps fown from the sky and blocks the radioactive rays from hitting Fuzzball. Fuzzball gets very hungry from all of the commotion, and a turkey and watermelon show up in front of him. Just as he is about to eat the food, Sheep # 4 comes out and tells him to give him the food, while treatening Fuzzball with a machine gun. Fuzzball says, "No! I'm hungry, and you can't make me give up this food!!" Sheep # 4 calls in the rest of his army (Sheep #1, #2, #3, and #5) and within minutes, airplanes, parachutes and rainbow cloud dispose themselves of the sheep. Fuzzball starts to cry. He whimpers, "All I wanted was something to eat." Since the sound of Fuzzball's crying was so sad, the whole kingdom had sympathy for Fuzzball, and set out to help him fight off the evil sheep. The Castle shot out bombs, let loose sharks, and set out armies of ants. Unfortunately, the sheep thought ahead of time, and decided to give the castle a present... the Rabbit of Troy! With a nearby storm, the lightning decides to side with the Castle, and hits the Rabbit of Troy. This sends out a telepathic vibe to the other bunnies in the ground. All the bunnies come out into the open, and decide it's nothing to get into a fuss about, so they sit there and drink martini's for the remainder of the war. Fighter kangaroo is on his way to help Fuzzball. But he's too late! Sheep #4 has already fired, and Fuzzball is watching the fire come towards his face! Fuzzball decides to connect with his inner-self, and pull a matrix move. The fire hits the kangaroo, and Fuzzball feels bad for killing someone who wanted to help him. Fuzzball forgot that Sheep #4 was still behind him. Sheep #4 shoots him... when Fuzzball opens his eyes, he realizes that it was all a dream. That makes him very happy. So he goes back to sleep. Yay! I have wayy too much fun with markers... Oh yeah, Dylan Swift and I took naps today during Biology... We stole beanbags from Mr. Robel's room, and the Ians made fun of me because I couldn't reach. I liked walking around in skirts and sandals, or as Kevin would say "little sluts". Maybe next week... Something extremely extraordinary happened today. I have no idea what the hell it is now. I remember being all excited to write about it when I got home... Damn it. Cassie got a new car! Yay! She can't take me driving for a while though... it's a stickshift. She's like, "I probably won't be able to drive anyone for a good couple of months..." So I gave her a piece of advice, "Just don't get this one totaled." then she says, "Shut up Jamie." okay Cassie... Lydia Davidson might come down for Sadie Hawkins. Which kind of sucks, because I really wasn't planning on going to Sadie Hawkins. Maybe I'll meet up with her afterwards, because I really want to see her. The last time she came down, I drove off campus with Zach and Whitney. So I missed her, and I still miss her, and I really want to see her. Hung out with Danny after school today. I haven't talked with him since last year in Intergrated Science. Well, I've talked with him, but not actually talked... you know? So anyway. We talked about the usual. Drugs, Zach and his crazy made-up Israel adventures, uhhh, and we made fun of Adam. So that was that. Heather's ditching me tomorrow 7th period to go to San Francisco. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I hate that class, and it makes it so much unbearable for the fact she's not going to be there with me to share the pain. Grrr. Before English today, I was talking to Austin and Dylan. Then Austin and I were being mean to each other (like always), and Dylan lifts his foot up, and kicks the back of both of my knees. So my feet came up from behind me and I fell on my ass. It was pretty embarrassing. After class, I kicked Dylan's ass (like literally kicked his ass) and that made me happy. Hey guess what? It's almost April Fools Day! heh heh. Oh! There's this REALLY fun game on popcap.com! it's called Insaniquarium. I do this in Mrs. Ange's class when I'm bored.
