The good and the bad.
Friday, May 9, 2008
I just came back from the Dance concert at my school.
I'll start with the "bad" parts:
  • I personally went there for the dancing. Also to see my some friends dance. I did not go there for socializing, so the people I went with weren't of much interest to me...so the talk between us was a little strained.
  • This little girl behind me was persistent in kicking my chair, talking [while the performances were going on], and touching me with her fingers (probably accidently). The adult with her probably didn't see this behavior or looked past it.
  • The yells/cat calls/"woohoo"s in between each performance was ok. During the first half. After intermission the intervals between each dance were just unbearable. Friends were screaming at the top of their lungs to the dancers. PEOPLE. YOU COULD JUST TELL THE DANCERS AFTER THE SHOW THAT YOU LOVE THEM.
  • This night tired me out.

The good parts.:
  • The dancing was worth the money I paid. Even though I never doubted the 2 hours of dance wouldn't be worth $5 [Yay for being a student].
  • The slower songs/dances were excellent (but the fast-paced ones were just as good). My preference for dance is the slower tempo type of movement. I just believe that the performers show more soul and emotion than the hip-hop stuff that nowadays mainly involves (from what I see) popping/locking and shaking, it's just not as enthralling as the lyrical dance stuff.
  • The ending of the night was also one of the good parts- oh yeah, besides having a girl in regular dance looking so constipated while she was right in the front. At the end the teacher gave all the performers flowers after they each danced out for a bow.
The Dance Chor. girls [They were the best dancers by FAR. Hahaha, as they should be]came out in some wacky costumes [Except for the seniors. They were just too cool]. One was in a full-body animal suit. The mascot kinds. I did not see what kind of animal it was.
People looked awkward while receiving the flowers.

Must go change. Into comfortable clothing. Tomorrow I will return comments of the previous entry! And POST PICTURES OF DUCKS.

Happy Friday People.

Too many things!
Thursday, May 8, 2008
There are too many things to blog about for me this week.

Hahaha, most of the time I don't have anything to blog about.
I'll do bullets on what this week has been filled with-
  • Tuesday= Me going to the BodyWorlds exhibit at the Science Center and missing school (most of it anyway) . This day is so overloaded with savory details it is NOT. EVEN. FUNNY.
  • WEDNESDAY= DUCKS. DUCKS IN MY POOL. DUCKS BEING DUCKs IN MY POOL!!! Pictures will be added to polish up the details...as soon as I load all the pictures in. Heheh. Ducks are good photo subjects.
  • Thursday=A good nap day. With no homework but a measly Bio worksheet
  • Yes, Monday was not important so I didn't include it

ARRRGH.

Annoying sounds woke me up this morning.
Now my clothes feel too tight, my hair is not right, and I have pimples on my face.

This whining sound...such as one a dog would make...stirred me awake. Then there were footsteps on the stairs. The whining sound STILL would not CEASE.

I couldn't close the window either, since THAT would result in an annoying screeching sound. Yeah, that window is pretty old. So I just had to get myself out of the comfy bed to brush my teeth/wash face/dress/comb hair.

AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGH. Now I have to finish eating and pack for school

Corn muffins. And yesterday's agony.
Sunday, April 20, 2008
The corn muffins [corn bread in muffin form] from Costco are now all gone.

But I just had 2 servings of shrimp and crab ravioli...so it's fine.
the corn muffins were my afternoon snacks. They were unbelievably delicious.
Oh well.

Hmm.
Also something else that happened this weekend: since I don't think going to the bathroom 4-5 times in a day to poop is the norm, I speculate that I had a mild case (although it didn't feel mild at the time) of diarrhea. I'm not sure if that happens to other people...but I had to endure it yesterday.

Due to me sitting on the toilet, I also missed the first 5 minutes of Harry Potter #3 last night on ABC.

If anyone else has had terrible pooping experiences, it would give me some consolation to hear from you people.

Happy Sunday!

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY BUGS IN MY HOUSE?!

I can't sit anywhere without scanning the area for bugs now. AGH. 3 small bugs (of the same kind, I think) have crawled over some part of my body today. It scares me.

Ahhh .
BUGS- PLEASE GO AWAY.
