10 steps to create and enemy and start a war: Listen closely because we will all see this used in our lives. It can be used on a society of the most ignorant to the most highly educated. we need to see their tactics as a weapon against humanity and not as truth. First step: Create the enemy. Sometimes this will be done for you. Second step: be sure the enemy you have chosen is nothing like you. Find obvious differences like race, language, religion, dietary habits fashion. Emphasize that their soldiers are not doing a job, they are heartless murderers who enjoy killing. Third step: Once these differences are established continue to reinforce them with all disseminated information. Fourth step: Have the media broadcast only the ruling party's information this can be done through state run media. Remember, in times of conflict all for-profit media repeats the ruling party's information. Therefore all for-profit media becomes state-run. Fifth step: show this enemy in actions that seem strange, militant, or different. Always portray the enemy as non-human, evil, a killing machine THIS IS HOW TO CREATE AN ENEMY. THIS IS HOW TO START A WAR. THIS IS HOW TO CREATE AN ENEMY. Sixth step: Eliminate opposition to the ruling party. Create an "Us versus Them" mentality. Leave no room for opinions in between. One that does not support all actions of the ruling party should be considered a traitor. Seventh step: Use nationalistic and/or religious symbols and rhetoric to define all actions. This can be achieved by slogans such as "freedom loving people versus those who hate freedom." This can also be achieved by the use of flags. Eighth step: Align all actions with the dominant deity. It is very effective to use terms like, "It is god's will" or "god bless our nation." Ninth step: Design propaganda to show that your soldiers have feelings, hopes, families, and loved ones. Make it clear that your soldiers are doing a duty; they do not want or like to kill. Tenth step: Create and atmosphere of fear, and instability and then offer the ruling party as the only solutions to comfort the public's fears. I missed him sooo much this weekend even though I had a great time hanging out with Tish and company too. So how was this weekend anyways? Just dandy I suppose. Gabe left with Brandon to go to Clearfield Thursday afternoon. Kinda sad I think they were planning on murdering some poor defenseless deer.  Anyhow Friday I took Tish and Ryan back home to Canton just to get a bottle of vodka. We're crazy I know, but it was worth it. Then we went down to Lauren and Dianas to chill and spread love with the bottle of vodka. "The Ring" is pretty trippy when you're a little intoxicated.We came back to the room and chilled with Lyle for the rest of the evening.Saturday we all just chilled around campus and in the room. Baked a cake, watched the 10th kingdom til we fell asleep. Anyhow it was a good weekend all around. Now my boys coming back and Im soooo happy!!!!  Comment! (0) | Recommend! Yay for... Saturday. 10.16.04 8:49 pm fuckhead ex roomies...grrrrr....sorry i'll warn you now this is going to be the entry i rant and rave about stupid ass people...and yesss the ex roomies are those. well not all of them, ok, so one of them. Tracey and Kim still talk to me and Tish and are at least being mature adults about the fact that me and Tish moved out of the suite....cept butters being well, what can you say about butter...it's all in the name, huh? hahahaha...if your curious why i call her butter...welllllll we learned that from the rest of the girls on the floor the other night...just think about what you are doing when your putting butter on a slice of bread...coughspreadingcough... anywayssssssss....actually i just ran out of rants....im just to pissed off to find the words Comment! (0) | Recommend! Boys Thursday. 10.14.04 7:04 pm are so dumb sometimes. I still love mine though...but honestly....last nite was bad. So me and Tish decide to go to bed (studying for psych makes you very sleepy). Right when we both get to sleep. Brandon calls. Well I suppose I should tell you that Gabe and Brandon got the brilliant idea to go steal a sign last nite. But anyhow. Brandon calls Tish's cell at like god...130/200am...he's like we almost got arrested for stealing the sign...Tish calls him a dumbass or something like that and tells them to come on up to the room since we're both awake now. 15 minutes later Brandon shows up at the room and I'm like thinking to myself "sooo where is my boyfriend?"...Brandons like "Oh Gabes not here right now. He got arrested." Apprently Brandon was the lookout and the cops showed up and Gabe couldnt get out in time so he got arrested and Brandon just laid low and watched the whole thing....supposedly. Well me and Tish flipped out...how could you just let your friend get arrested? I was sooo mad and scared. I like jumped out of my bed and proceeded to rummage through my desk to find the phone book. I was gonna call the cops and find out what was up...Well the boys thought that was a good moment to stop the little game they were playing. Gabe walks into the room as soon as he heard me say "call the cops"...oooooo I hit him...and I hit him hard... he's lucky i like him so much...haha... Comment! (0) | Recommend! Comment! (0) | Recommend! UGHHhhhh Saturday. 10.2.04 5:50 pm So I've been up for like 2 hours...rough, but amazing, night. Started it all off at a mixer. Tish and her big, Diana came and picked me up at like 930. It was awesome, I felt so at home with the AST girls. Dont get me wrong, I absolutely loved some of the girls in ZTA, but they arent my kinda people. I barely even knew the AST sisters but they made me feel more included than ZTA ever did and i was a freaking pledge for ZTA. Its all good now tho, I fully intend on pledging AST in the spring. Anyhow...like 8 of us girls all piled into Diana's car at god knows what time and headed over to the AST house. Had a little scare cuz the 5 0 were out like crazy last night, but it was all good. The times only got better at the house. well ok...i had a little bit of a scarey moment when a freakin Sig Tau brother tried to hit on me and get in my pants, but Emily and Diana rescued me from that loser. Tish and Lyle told him to get lost later on when he tried to hit on me again. My friends are the best!! Lyle helped me and Tish get back home at some point last night...i lost track of time very fast. We made it back without a problem except for the fact that I almost fell to my death trying to walk down the back steps at Diana's apartment...lets just say it was a very good thing that there were people in front of me. Ok, really bad part of the whole fun evening... I passed out as soon as I got back to the suite and didnt let the alcohol wear off therefore little miss kari woke up with her very first hangover  ...hence the reason I've only been up for two hours now.Guess what!!! My boy is coming back in like 24 hours!!!...yes I am counting down, I missed him so much this weekend. Comment! (0) | Recommend! Homecoming Friday. 10.1.04 8:27 pm Homecoming weekend is here!!! Starting it off right by partying with Tish Tish and the AST girls...should be a long amazing night. Well except for the fact that my boys not here this weekend. He went home...I would have gone with him but it was time for some party time with the girls for a change...  ....muahahahahahahaha. anyhow...peace out home skillets...time to party!!! Comment!
