Edward and I just got done watching Flight. It was okay. Robert Zemeckis uses too many cliches in his films. And the use of music was obnoxious and trite.

Denzel was good though! He's always good and he has a perfect face. Also the actor that played his son was ATTRACTIVE but that made me feel weird because he seemed really young and I'm too old to be attracted to little baby boy actors. (Sounds creepier than intended.)

I ordered some weddingy stuff, maybe I'll post some pictures when I get it.

EDIT:

I should also mention that the actual crash scene in flight was TERRIFYING and very well done and realistic. And if you have any fear of flying, you should probably avoid Flight.

I almost forgot to update!

I watched the movie last night And wow it was just as intense as I expected. It was very good, I recommend it. The physical transformation of the actor who played the boy was shocking. He was only 13 when he made the movie and it was filmed in chronological order. It was so sad to see how different he looked at the end.

I'm about to walk down the street to our neighborhood bar for a drink, fun! Right now I'm watching Teen Jeapordy and the teens are smarter than me saaaad.

Normally Tuesdays are truly terrible for me, but so far, this one hasn't been bad. It's 4:01, I can go home in an hour! (If nothing crazy happens between now and then...)

Not much has happened since yesterday.

I started a new book, Simon Pegg's "Nerd Do Well." Edward's brother got it for me for Christmas, he knows I love Simon Pegg/Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz. Nerdy Brit! I'll take one, please. So far, I'm amused, which is good.

I just finished Haruki Murakami's "The Wind Up Bird Chronicle" and while I highly recommend it, don't even ask me what it's about because I couldn't even begin to tell you. It was CRAZY. Like a labyrinth! So good, everyone, go pick it up and read it! IT'S CRAZY. Crazy good.

I started reading it in December, but then took a break to re-read The Hobbit, which is just as good as I remembered. I love The Hobbit. And I really enjoyed the movie too, even though there was LOTS more than what's in the book. But that's okay! It was all cool stuff!

I have the film "Come and See" waiting for me at home. Here's the Netflix synopsis: Director Elem Klimov's drama shows the atrocities of World War II through Soviet eyes. When 13-year-old commoner Florya joins a group of partisans fighting the Nazis in Belorus, he doesn't suspect that he is plunging through the looking glass. Separated from his comrades during a paratroop attack and struck deaf by artillery, Florya wanders a battle-scorched Russian purgatory of forests and man-made slaughter.

I've heard it's INTENSE so I'm kind of scared to watch it. You guys, I was an emotional wreck for weeks after watching War Horse, and that's just a movie about a horse during World War II! Oy, I kind of regret adding it to the queue. I also read AFTER adding it to my queue and PROMISING myself I'd watch it that they kill a real animal in it. D: I don't know, I don't know...

You guys, the Superbowl took FOREVER and the commercials were only okay, except for those Budweiser Clydesdales which always make me cry! Edward went on an hour long walk at one point. The half-time show was fun though. Two members of Destinys Child SHOT OUT OF THE STAGE. Kelly and Michelle I've missed you!

Then I went to music video night and got to see even MORE Beyonce which was nice because she is my queen.

Now I'm at work and it's a Monday and you guys know how Mondays are, ugh.
