wondering...
Monday April 19, 2004 4:38pm
We were talking about the different words of profanity in english a while back and I began to wonder, who decides which word is bad or not? A long time ago, the word "shit" wasn't bad or the word "damn." So we all decided to make up a word and use it to describe things, nothing bad or profane about it. We all figured that in a couple months or so, if we keep this up, that this word will pretty soon have a different meaning. I forgot what the word was, but the teacher said it was from PepperAnn, that cartoon show. I guess it never worked out because the teacher left to go have a baby, and everyone else forgot about it. I wonder though, what would happen if we really did follow through.. Would that word be used differently than we originally intended it to?
