on saturday me and sab went snowboarding. twas lots of fun. however, i had to get used to it. we took lessons last year, but i didn't really "snowboard" without the help of the instructor. this time it was just me and SaSe.

it was actually funny the first time we went down the slope. SaSe went down first and put her snowboard down to help me. wilst she was guiding me she said to meet her where her snowboard was. i looked and couldn't find it and asked her where it was. she looked and couldn't find it either. turns out that someone took it and placed it by the ski-lift.

i had a hard time the first and second trips down. then i got used to it and went down the slope quite fast. it was a little scary, but i got the hang of it. and then it was really fun. while in the ski-lift the poles supporting us had little messages on them. some of them were hilarious others were all serious. one of them went like skiing and snowboarding in control is fun. tru dat! i don't like falling and "catching edges." they hurt like hell. specially when the snow's not "fluffy."

this year we had vouchers since they overcharged us last year. our vouchers were at least $200 worth. first it took us 10 minutes to explain to them what we had. the lady in the window had to ask her manager what to do with it. then we found out that we couldn't get our 1/2 day pass until noon and it was only 10 am. so me and SaSe got some hot cocoa and lounged around. it also didn't help that SaSe left her whole wallet with her credit card and ID in the car. she went around the area with 6 numbers. very clever!

going to and from the parking lot to the slope was kina weird. we went in these shuttles that looked like it were made for horses. the architecture made sense, but just being in it was weird. when they open the "gates" one of the guys were like "and they're off!" one really weird thing was that they guys to the right of us got there at the same time we did. we all boarded the shuttle at the same time. and on the way back they caught the shuttle with us again and got into their cars at the same time. me and one of the guys even touched. we were so close in the shuttle that it was like we were holding hands. haha.

overall, it was definetly fun. hopefully, we go a lot more next year.

right now i'm in california. i got here around 10 o'clock on saturday. big story! i missed my flight in houston. first time ever! i was so upset, but for some reason i thought that i would and i did. that really sucked.

anyways i've been having a pretty good time. it's a lil bit cooler than i expected, but it's aight overall. typical me forgot a lot of things in orlando and jacksonville tho. but i can live without them.

so far we have gone to laguna beach, newport, and la jolla. tomorrow we are gonna head to palm desert to see clingy. yay! i haven't seen her since last year. she's so cute. i have a peasent (present) for her. i hope she likes it. then the next day me and sab will go snowboarding. finally! sucks that florida doesn't have the slopes just the waves.

christmas shopping is kinda hard. i don't really know what to get gips. sab says he's trying to eat healthy so there goes the processed meats and cheese i usually get for guys. maybe sab and i will pull our money together and get him a nice shirt with a collar. i think after him i'm done with the whole getting the presents thing. i just gotta wrap up what i have and give it to people before christmas comes.

today i had my last final: calculus. i thought it would be easy, but i was wrong. he tricked us!!! there was so much math that i didn't even double check. i was so tired of math by the end of this exam. omg! how draining!!! i assumed he would just make it aight since a lot of people were failing that class, but apparently he felt that the exam should be tricky. We got 16 problems and an empty space in between the questions to work them out. actually, i started to go crazy since i didn't have enough room for one question and i had to write super small. i hope he can read it.

on to a lighter note, it's WINTER BREAK!!! whoop! i'm excited! i can just relax.

i haven't updated in a while, but i'm back! here's the reason why i actually updated: i'm trying to avoid writing my lab report...that was due yesterday. all i really have to do is write my lab report and answer the post-lab questions and email it in to my lab instructor. truthfully i don't know why i haven't done it. it's not that hard. starting something has always been the hard part. cuz when i actually start doing it, there's no problem.

finals have come. dun-dun-dun. i have 2 finals on tuesday--chem II and physics. and one on thursday--calculus. i don't think the chem and calc ones will be too bad since it's pretty much gonna be a copy and paste of the other tests. although i heard the physics final f***s you up. i have no idea what will be in it and we learned 13 chapters which had a crapload of info. but imma try to go to all the reviews so i'll know what to study. i'm looking forward to it, it may actually bring my grades up...

or not.

today i woke up at 2:30 out of nowhere. just rand0mly woke up. so now i don't know what to do. maybe i should start by cleaning my room. kinda messy! like nowhere to step.

some good news:

anyways, i recently got in touch with my cousin from sweden. he just graduated from Gotland University and is now a theatre producer. pretty interesting. maybe i should learn swedish so i can watch one of his plays.

thanksgiving is almost here. whoop! i miss homecooked meals being in college away from home n all. so i'm very excited about that. besides we're gonna have it outside. we are going to little talbot islands. we're having thanksgiving at the beach. nice!

also, the california trip is back on. yay! i'm going to california right after finals. i'm gonna stay there until dec. 21st and then go back to jax for a couple of days and then on the 24th travel down to miami to go to our cruise to cayman islands/jamaica. after the holidays we come back to miami.

studies are also good. i haven't been procrastinating a lot. i've started studying for tests a week before. a lot better than the day before or even the day of. haha. i wish i would've done that sooner tho.

i haven't been spending much money. i'm actually contolling my budget and actually been having a budget. so hopefully i would have enough to spend for my overplanned winter break.
