It was a disappointment when we reached the waterfall... There are so many man-made stuff that it does not look natural anymore... anyway, I tried to capture as much of the natural parts as possible :)

Before I show the real thing, here's an imitation! It was pouring so heavily when we arrived that the stairs leading to our room started to flow like a waterfall!

Driving at night was kinda eerie because there are literally no cars nor light at all. you are in the middle of nowhere with trees on both sides... you need to tone down on your imagination to stay focused on the road!



Now, this is what driving should be like!

The first steps into the forest...

Getting into the heart of it... my kids were marvelously full of energy to complete the hike!



ENCOUNTER with the LEECH!!! It sucked our blood without us knowing it!



The consequence of being bitten by a leech! But amazingly, we did not need to use fire or alcohol to remove it. We just pulled it off our feet! Thank God, my kids were bitten by tiny leeches that only cause bleeding but not pain...

We took a speed boat out in the darkness of the night along the river, where your eyes can only see the stars as the only source of light... everything else was pitch dark as the cold wind blows against your face and the chilling sound of moving waves makes your imagination run wild about what might be creeping in the water and along the banks of the river, densely covered with trees and bushes... but all the creepiness disappears into thin air as you see trees after trees, blinking like christmas trees without no electricity... just the brilliance of tens and hundreds of fireflies illuminating the branches and your hands catching them, holding them and sending them away once again to your natural habitat. wish that moment will last on and on...
