I used to play "The Sims" a while ago, but have since stopped. I don't know, I guess I just finally grew out of it.
In the last couple of days I read in the papers about Second Life. Never heard of it before so I decided to open up an account. Yeah, I decided on getting the free package and have yet to try it. Just finished downloading it, so I open the invite to anyone else who wants to try. I've added the link below.
I've noticed something quite disturbing recently. In the process of a week, my junk mail trash bin collects over an average of 7000+ piece of spam mail.
You can say it, bc I'm thinking the same thing... "WTF?!"
If it wasn't for my spam filters, I'd be swimming in viagra ads, secret shopper emails, and god only knows how many fishing emails (used to steal your password, for those who don't know) coming from mock paypal accounts and email accounts.
But anyway, for something a cool... although the song is kinda sad when you think about the lyrics...
I was just looking at my gmail account and something disturbed me. It was the fact that I had close to 10,000 pieces of spam in my spam box.
Out of a morbid sense of curiousity, I decided to take a look into that folder to see what was going on. Was Gmail not bothering to delete the messages?
No, gmail was deleting them, only, they were keeping them for 30 days, then tossing them out.
You mean to tell me I've recieved close to 10,000 pieces of spam mail with the last 30 days?!
