My mom works for the Bank of York in midtown manhattan and she needs to walk a bit to get to her office on Lexington. Each morning, my mom passes NBC studios where Good Morning America is shown live outside. On Monday, it just so happened that Yao Ming was a guest on Good Morning America! My mom was passing by and she saw him! Although I didn't get to see it myself, she told me all about it and said it was an awsome experience. Unlike some basketball games, my mom was able to be within 10-20 feet from him. Unfortunately Yao did not stay and my mom didn't get to talk to him but seeing him was good enough.

Ahh yes... eight grade has finally begun to roll along. I know this because tomorrow I have two tests and a quiz. Boys and girls, thats when you know eigth grade has gotten under way. Yet, I am still in middle school. It must be hell for those high schoolers up at Ridge. Well, we'll just have to wait another year to face the dread.

Anyone interested in politics and has access to HBO should watch Real Time with Bill Maher [see weekly quotes in my module]. He is such a funny comedian but still is able to discuss major issues while being halarious. Every episode also has fmaous guest stars . Airs every Friday on HBO 2 [i'm not sure.. could be regular HBO] at 11 and every Saturday on HBO 2 at 10 [rerun].

This has been going around for so long now but for the people who still haven't figured it out, go to ilovebees.com. It's a ARG made probably by the folks at bungie since it's an Halo 2 advertising gimmick. There are so many puzzles to figure out and over 730 audio files to listen to. Most of the are very short excerpts of a whole story that you have to piece together. How wonderful! Today was the first day of eighth grade, hopefully the best grade. I met some of my teachers and they weren't too bad, except Ms. Graff my geometry teacher and Mrs. Dincuff. Dincuff is an ass cause she teaches english with another teacher Simpson. Simpson is really funny and stuff but when dincuff is there he gets more serious and so dincuff is really gay.

Feeling the after-effects of Lord of the Flies. If you can figure out what this poem is about, I appluad you. If you can't, your probably stupid:

As Doomsday draws ever so near, creeping toward me like a beast on all fours, I am struck with the pain of remorse. The awful truth strikes at me at the most inopportune moments. Remorse for wasting a whole summer. Remorse for not being outside as much. Remorse for summer. These pangs of regret stab at me as if the very teeth of the beast is upon my neck. Now, as the beast lunges for the kill, my pain grows all the stronger. Every passing minute becomes an eternity of turture and relentless agony. I sit here waiting... desperately waiting for this beast of burden to pounce and deal the final blow. When all life ceases to exist and the beast tamers once again begin their rule.

At last we come to the conclusion of summer. It's been, well... interesting to say the least. Many events of turmoil and exciment have occured during the duration of my vacation (ha, ryhme), and many will be remembered forever. For example, CTY. Yes ofcourse, who could forget CTY? It's been another great year at my favorite camp due to the many friends that I have made there (Kaiting, Jem, Nina, Jason, John, Lily, and all the rest of the posse). After CTY was a period of unrest and uneasiness. All of my friends had departed to China so the only things that occupied my time were tennis, swimming, and conqueronline. Soon however, all of the vacationers had returned and we soon started our real summer. All day everyday we would hang out and play video games, bike around, and of course make each other laugh. Then, the catastrophic runion occured. Alan and Kerry became enraged that the other CTY students had ignored them at the reunion. Now I am also swept in by the pleads of my friend seeking council on the subject on love. Yes love. As you see, it's been a long paragraph and an even longer summer. Soon it is off to school and a new way of life must start.
