I believe that I was in a weird mood today. All day. You know..I love wordplay and I used to mess around with the word Underwhelmed. Yes, the opposite of Overwhelmed. Instead of absolutely everything seeming to have crushing weight upon you, it's the feeling that nothing has any bearing on you or affects you in any way. The feeling that you are barely bound to the planet. Gravity's let go. And you could completely float away from the lack of urgent responsibilities.

So that's something like what I think I'd felt all day. And don't worry if you aren't certain what that would feel like because even I am not sure and I spent all day feeling it.

Anyways.

Preliminary numbers for the show on Friday sounds pretty encouraging. Our opening band should be bringing far more than any other band we've played with which is great because it's more people to work our asses off to try to impress with what we do. And we should have a lot of people that have heard the three songs on our demos but they'll get to hear about 7 or 8 other songs by us that they haven't heard yet. And hopefully the live show itself will be amazing. Can't wait. We'll make videos available =0)

I spent a few hours tonight working on the last big user-end feature of TMS ( mercury-system ) and so far it appears to be working perfectly so I am going to go over to that account and post about the feature(s) and then I am literally going to pass out for the night.

Another semi uneventful post but the day itself pretty much was. But alas, rock on!

PPS: Why the hell do I have 490 BlogMad credits?? My total just keeps going up and up without any signs of them coming down. I think a lot of people must have blocked me in their BlgMad control panel. Damn. I guess I could put 400 credits into the lotery to win another 100,000 credits sometime and then sell them off to someone else haha Send me traffic!

Well each night I try to wait until just before I am ready to sleep to post an entry so that I can include everything for the day. Now I know that I could update earlier and then either edit the entry to add whatever worthy events occured after it or even start another entry. But alas, I do it this way.

Today wasn't so bad at work. The day went pretty well up until the end when a certain event occured but I will let it pass like water under a bridge and attempt to forget it. But I will say..."...some stupid store associates"... But aside from that it went by somewhat quickly.

We picked up KFC on the way home. I love their mashed potato bowls! I don't know what it is about them but I go from starved to overly stuffed after eating just one and they aren't even very big. I just feel completely and totally stuffed. Which is good!

And then the Eagles came on! Monday Night Football here in Philadelphia as they took on the Packers. The first half nearly had Chad and I screaming with rage but they picked it up and breezed through the fourth quarter which had been the quarter which caused us the most consern over the previous three games. But we took the game and are now 3 and 1. Next up are the Dallas Cowboys...oh that'll be fun but I'll get into specifics behind that another time.

While all of that was going on I was working on perfecting what I believe will be the final front-end feature of The mercury-system for the release of the first version. It has to do with timestamping and i think that I finally have the solution. But I will give it a few days of self-testing to see if I have it working properly. And then I would code it into the IM WIndow in the context of the script and voila! It should work. After that I have just a couple things to do as far as administrator powers go such as deleting members that deserve it or just never logged on after signing up. To help cleanup the system of unwanted files/directories. But more will be discussed on the tech blog which is linked above.

Well not it's literally time to pass out. I will see you tomorrow.
