Ah, today was...uneventful. Nonetheless, I shall begin to bore you with today's little happenings.

I taught, they learned: We played Hangman with Christmas as the subject. There were three teams--the first: No.1, the second: Super, and the third(ours): Stars.
Put them together and what do you get?
NO.1 SUPER-STARS!

Our team did not win. I've noticed that my participants/students are a bit behind the others...

See, since there are three teams, two teams have to take turns guessing. We did Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who'd go first. I was the representative for our team. ;) And I won every time. Well, until the last two rounds cuz they got sick of me. XD Besides, my team would guess first and guess wrong...

I sat and listened: to my mother and her friend gossip. We were sitting in the far corner of a neighborhood bakery(Chinese) getting to one of the chefs to cater an event. The orders finished and they launched into a discussion about a mutual friend and so on...

Afterwards, my mother and I went CHAIR-SHOPPING! There's this store I saw on my way over to the bakery from YMCA--where my classes are held. It's called theChairFactory and I had high hopes of what we'd find there. However...she lingered here and there, it was closed by the time we got there. Though I have to say, the lingering wasn't more than 10-15 min and it was barely six in the evening. 0.o

Hehe, we had decided on a bright red sofa and it'll be delivered this week! (*^.^*)
She had also ordered two red barstools. I didn't think it'd be the best idea since we already had a red sofa--it's really BRIGHT RED--and I hadn't seen the stools she picked. But after I saw them at another store, I changed my mind. (*-*)

1. Peking Opera--Spears
6. Tai dance (yes, the one with the 'pancake hat')
8. Handkerchief dance
10. Xin Jiang/Uygur dance

I'm not really worried since we've been learning for a few months already.

Well, Spears is bugging me a bit. We usually learn in Studio B and the 'performance' is held in Studio C which is much bigger than the former. We practised in Studio C today for about 10-15 min. and boy, was the floor slippery!

'We' means another girl, CZ, and I.

It was hard to spin...there's a part of the routine where we take turns attacking each other. I have to go easier/slower on her cuz she can't find her footing easily and the slippery-ness of the bigger studio is not helping. But when it's my turn? Yeesh, fa-ast spinning. I would be dizzy if the routine ended there, but it doesn't. =P And we have to spread out more and I start sliding in my haste. Though not enough to go joy riding WEEEE! XD

Handkerchief is a pain as well because our teacher kept changing the beginning for the last few weeks or so. I haven't forgot the latest changes yet, but it's so annoying. *rolls eyeballs* But I really like this dance so I hope it goes well! =]

We'll do Tai dance(again) and Spears. First time with Spears outside of the school! Ahh! Hope we don't mess up and poke each other's eyes out...>.> Or smash any tables...

I was going to wait for her to leave this morning to turn on my lappie like I did last week. Then I'd have an uninterrupted time slot in my day with NuTang! Alas, that woman has got it in her head that I must leave with her. And the more I protest the more stubborn she gets. I can hear myself getting more fixated on the word 'NO!' which makes it more tantrum-like. And suspicious.

She's also got it in her head that I'm a baad girl, not a good girl because I'm not a soft-spoken, sweet, girly girl. That suposedly means I'm going to skip classes at a school I've been attending for 12 years that I regard as my second family. What great deduction! ('0')

I wanted to respond to your comments, but she's right behind me...wait, not anymore. Let me finish this quick.

Muffin-Man: Haha! Yes, I was surprised to find that Forks does indeed exist. I want to go visit! I haven't read Eragon and I don't think the movie will be that good, either. But I suppose we ARE spoiled from Lord of the Rings.

Ahh! Stephenie Meyers--the author of Twilight and New Moon--is now one of my favorite authors. (*-*)

I visited her site and it has more than I'd hoped for! Twilight was her first book, New Moon her second and so on. The next one is coming out Fall of 2007. Oh, I can't wait! Like I said before, it's going to be a continuation from New Moon.

I had such a great time with the goodies she put on her site, ie: outtakes--pieces that she had to leave out of the books. She says there's a possibility that Twilight will be made into a movie! The rights haven't been bought yet, but they're already working on the second draft of the script. I'm not totally excited about this because it takes the imagination out of the story. If the movie came out, all the characters would have faces and all that came with them. *sigh* But I should be happy. =D
