Must catch up on the time that i missed wif D.D. Eveyday seems like a new day full of surprises and joy. Eating has been our past time, getting lazier by the day. Havent been going to the gym since i came bk from malaysia. Jus came bk from a gathering wif the same old ppl, JY, kurt, YT, Jian yong and of coz D.D. Orchard was packed wif ppl, the passage way leading from wisma to taka was jammed coz ppl from the the other lanes (coming thru and fro) were cutting into each other's lanes. SO SELFISH!! Anyway, we tokked cork then decided on wheelock place's fish and co for dinner. We were first greeted by a gay (after standing for very long to be served). He was so funny and he looks as if he is only 17 years old. After being seated down, a rude waiter took our order. He said that the stingray will take abt 15 mins and the swordfish will take abt 30 mins. So nvm. We wait and wait, till the 15 mins gone, then soon the 30 mins is up too. Our food were not even here, even for those wif the normal dishes. So, we called the waitress and asked them to hurry up. She explained that they always serve together, then nv tell us early, so in all we waited for almost 45 mins and the first dish was the swordfish (which takes the longest time). My fish and chips was the last, so sian. Luckily, the waitress that i asked for chilli was helpful and quick. So full after that. Sian, 2moro is the last dae that i can see my D.D. b4 he goes for training at boon lay on mon. Wonder how are we going to meet each other from then onwards, hope he can come out on weekends. All my frenz are working , so no one to pei me already except D.D. I will surely miss D.D. alot one. I dun intend to change bf liao, D.D. is the one. Haha... hope i m his too. =) Comment! (0) | Recommend! Orchard is getting boring Wednesday. 12.14.05 8:30 am Have been to orchard for the past few days wif D.D. Yesterday met up wif the usual ppl, ting feng, jia yang, boon kok, kurt and qiu mei for dinner at cafe cartel. Then, 2dae went down after eating claypot laksa at queenstown. THe laksa is really nice, highly recommended. Although i dont really eat laksa, but this one is good, the gravy is thick not so soupy. 2dae damn tired, coz i keep going to the toilet to shit and my feet hurts. I was wearing a new pair of flats, that's y it hurts. The shoe was cutting into my skin, thus, will nd more getting used to it. Orchard road is packed full of ppl, most are the students on holiday (O level?)Went to TCC (the coffee connection) for high tea to rest my legs and escape from the crowd. After which, went to Taka to buy some christmas presents. Wah, i tell u, my legs are so painful that i drag my feet or leap. Haha, i asked D.D. to see from behingd whether my walking was wierd. hehe... D.D. sent me up the bus and proceeded to meet his army frenz at abt 9pm. Imagine 34 botak army guys eating at seoul garden, quite comical rite? Haha, tink they can eat whatever is served wif no prob. D.D. is singing KTV now, hope he has a nice time belting out songs. Muacks Comment! (6) | Recommend! KL was fun, too bad had to leave early Monday. 12.12.05 8:19 am Hiaz, my father dun let me and D.D. stay longer till tue. He wanted us to go bk wif him on sun, coz he say y waste money to buy bus tix bk. Sorry D.D., u cant spend more time shopping and eating. But i hope u enjoyed ur stay wif my aunt, the food and the shopping. SaT WE had a late breakfast at the nearby coffeeshop. We all had Char Kway Tiao, its was really best, nice, hot and yummy. Different from singapore. I tink they added fried pig oil which makes it have that taste. Then, we went to the Twin Towers, KLCC, for some retail therapy. I bought 1 pair of slippers from VNC, its slightly cheaper as compared to SG. Poor D.D. , he was looking for jeans for the new year, either the jeans are too simple or they are too ex. ANyway, i really enjoyed shopping over there. Next, we had high tea as Secret Recipe. Ordered chicken cornish pie and cake. Yummy. After that, we shifted to Sungai Wang. K, they have alot of different shops in it and the place has high human traffic. D.D. bought 2 pairs of shoes, very ncie, becoz i chose for him one. D.D> wif spicy chicken cornish: SuN Last day of shopping b4 heading bk home in the afternoon. Had rice, "gou fan" (in chinese). The dishes are delicious and there were alot to choose from. I suggested Mid Valley shopping centre. Its the biggest shopping place in KL. Surprised that there were already so many ppl there in the morning when the shops jus opened. I bought 2 tees, D.D. bought a blouse for his mum (so sweet) and he bought tonnes of local food bk. Haha... Like very kaisu. The journey bk home was quite fast, but when we reached the singapore customs, we hated it. We were jammed in the middle of the brigde. I was so tired that i slpt all the way to the custom, not knowing the car was moving. The whole jam was abt 1 hour 30 mins. So sian loh, lucky my dad nv really flare at us for the jam. Haha... As it was late. D.D> slpt over at my house. We watched the vcd he bought from KL, Jack neo's latest, abt the jail mates who leave changi prison and their life after prison. Its not bad, as usual, there are dialects (which i dun really understand), same actors and a feel-good ending (as stated by D.D.). D.D. eating lamb stew at Secret recipe: Me eating ice cream: MoN Woke up at 10 and ate breakfast at the coffeeshop downstairs. Had "ban main" (hand-made noodles), so sinful. Headed to D.D's hse to unload his lugguage. Then, we had a late lunch at KFC. I tried the new Fiery Flava, well, its average ok. AFter that went to eat at Suntec's Ben and Jerry. Veyr nice man, the service is also good. The staff offered to let my try as she was unsure whether i would like the taste of the ice cream. It was worth it. After the ice cream, D.D. bought royce's choco. Very nice and crunchy. D.D. i love u. U are as sweet as chocolate. Royce: Comment! (0) | Recommend! Swedens Outing Thursday. 12.8.05 10:10 am Went to meet wif my gals. Walked quite far from city hall to marina. Settled for Swedens. Ordered chilli fish pasta, its not bad, the chilli is not really hot, but better than tomato based pasta. Havent seen the gals for a long time, although we didnt tok really alot, we enjoyed each other's company. Next fri, we will be going to Double O to club. Haha, yeah!!! After the main course, i took out my goodies which are the tim tams and marshmellows for them to try. Half way there, the staff say cannot eat outside food over there. Sian loh, its not that i sit there nv order their food. Nv,, we went to the open and sat on a platform to eat and chat. Seems like i have missed out on alot of girly chats and outing. Anyway,i enjoyed myseld 2dae. Yeah!!! 2moro i m going to KL liao. Hope i can eat the delicious food i wan and buy shoes. Maria, qiu mei and fatty me! Group photo at Swedens D.D. and me, so cute Comment! (0) | Recommend! Out the whole day Wednesday. 12.7.05 9:03 am Woo hoo, went to D.D.'s hse in the afternoon and then headed to Deport Road to chop his passport coz we are going to KL on fri. My dad will be fetching us there in the evening. The place is really protected and secured, i feel so out of place accompanying D.D. in where there are mostly soldiers and staff. Anyway, it is approved as soon as D.D. apply for the permit online. AFter that, went to queensway hawker to eat. We ate ice kacang, sticky rice and claypot laksa. The laksa is the best, although i usually dun eat one. The gravy is thick and abit spicy. Yummy. Actually, nothing really changed in queensway shopping centre. Next, we went to orchard. My aim for 2dae was to buy shoes and jeans. Well, got alot of ppl mostly youngsters. All the O level students come out , primary sch and bah bah bah. SO crowded that i jus dun feel like trying on shoes. Bought a jeans from taka wif $50 vouncher. Its quite unique, $80 and dun noe wat brand , Dapper. Not bad, must slim down abit then will look nicer. Hiaz... Dinner was at Pepper Lunch at taka. The food is not bad, except for the smoke from the food on the hot plate. AFter dinner, window shopped at wisma and i totally fell in love wif a Fcuk jeans. Its got embriodery on the bottom, the jeans is so nice wif the patterns on the inside. But it cost a bomb, $180. Hiaz, D.D. offered it as a christmas gift but i declined. It so ex, i dun wan him to waste money and jeans is quite a common gift. SO tired after all the walking. Ok, some more photos of the POP (Pass Out Parade) The furthest is D.D's company, Uyless ( not sure of spelling) Throwing of caps of the graduates D.D and frenz D.D. and sergeant D.D. and buddy, anthony ![]() Me and D.D Comment! (0) | Recommend! SO exciting (BMT) Tuesday. 12.6.05 9:11 am I felt so excited. I have nv stepped into Pulau Tekong b4. Met up wif D.D. 's parents and headed to pasir ris by mrt. Alot of ppl even though its wkday. Upon reaching the interchange, there were alot of aunties and uncles queuing for no obvious reason. Then, after looking for the sign to tekong, we finally joined the queue which was long and messy. Everybody jus crowd around and make it seem like a queue. However, the actual procedure was to listen to instructions given by the officers there (BTW they sounded like uncles speaking singlish). The ppl were ushered up the bus by their company alphabet such as S, R, U (mine) and etc... Finally after queuing for abt 45 mins, squeezing wif other kia shu ppl, we finally boarded the tekong bus. Then, we transfered to a ferry. The whole journey is so tedious , long and inconvcenient. Have to wait for a long time. ANyway, while in the boat, i admired the scenery. Actually, i find tekong quite nice mayb i havent tasted the bad and tiring stuff. The buildings are quite new, as compared to what i had in pulau ubin for my NPCC Adventure Training Camp. We were 45 mins early b4 the parade started. there were some drill performance by the soldiers. Its quite alrite except one part where one dropped the rifle. Everyone jus "OH" and clapped. Hhaha, hope the guy doesnt have to be punished too harshly. I felt so motivated to go for training after watching the different companies march, listening to the commands that were once familar to me (NPCC). I miss NPCC life, hehe... The discipline , the unity and bah bah bah is so great. There is this force making everything possible. I feel so proud of D.D., becoz he is a strong survivor. There was this segment where the parents would go down to the parade square to help put on the cap for their sons, but this D.D. pai sae and he put it on himself. Hiaz.... It was quite hard finding him and he was situated quite deep in the squat and all of the guys look the same qif their tanned bodies. D.D. is so handsome, love him so much. Mayb i will consider signing on as some small personnel. I m jus imagining myself to be that great. Mayb.... Feel so tired and sticky from the sweat. Me and the champion aka D.D: D.D. and his parents: ...more photos to come.... Comment! (0) | Recommend! |
