Kurt Angle Released From WWE
Monday. 8.28.06 8:56 am
I got some sad news this weekend that Olympic Gold Medallist Kurt Angle was given an early release from his WWE contract, mainly caused by his addiction to pain killer due to nagging injuries caused by years of abuse in the ring. Kurt is one of the greatest performers to ever step in the ring. People that have seen him know what I mean. This is a sad sad day. Best of luck beating your addiction Kurt. Hope to see you back in the ring soon. I’ll post a funny pic later. Thanks for reading.

Funny News: Scamming The Scammer
Monday. 8.21.06 8:21 am
On my other entries here I inserted a Funny Pic Of The Day at the end. I’ve also thought about inserting a link to a funny news story as well, but just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I never thought that the first funny news story I put up would be my own. It goes like this:

“Ephedra is back.” I thought my friend J.C. was joking when he said that to me on the phone one day a couple months ago. I asked him what he was talking about and he proceeded to read to me the contents of an e-mail he had just got in.

If you don’t know what ephdra is you obviously don’t have a weight problem. It’s a substance put in diet pills to increase you metabolism and curb you appetite. It was banned 2 years ago because some stupid baseball player who probably didn’t need to lose weight anyway was mixing it with caffeine and gave himself a heart attack. The FDA said that it leads to heart attack and stroke and it was banned. If only it had been linked to heart attacks, strokes and lung cancer like cigarettes it would have never been outlawed.

I lost so much weight on the original Xenadrine RFA-1 a few years ago. As a matter of fact, after the ban was announced I stocked up on the stuff, but my supply ran out months ago. I tried looking on the net to see if it was available in other countries, but not such luck.

After J.C. read the e-mail to me and asked him to forward it. I did a little research and it turns out that last fall a federal judge lifted the ban. Certain restrictions now applied like smaller doses, but I didn’t care because ephedra was back. And the best part was, the e-mail stated that the FIRST BOTTLE WAS FREE!

I waited a couple weeks before ordering. I don’t really trust offers that are too good to be true. Yes the bottle was free, but that did require a small fee of $4.96 for shipping and handling. That’s a small price to pay considering I was paying $40.00 for Xenadrine back in the day. Since I don’t like putting my credit card number into websites I’ve never used before the first thing I did was go to MBNA’s Net Access website. You see, MBNA has a feature on there credit cards called Shop Safe, which lets you generate a FREE temporary account number for every online purchase. That’s right, I can make a temporary account number and put any amount I want on that account. I generated an account number that not only expired in sixty days, but had a maximum credit limit of $5.00. After that I went to the Metabofuel 1000 website and entered my temporary account number for my free bottle.

It took about 3 weeks to get. I got it, tried it and after doubling the recommended dosage I could tell it was working. I ran out a couple weeks ago and have been eating non-stop ever since. So today I decided I would go online and order more. The bottle says “To re-order visit www.metabofuel.com so I went to that website and it was closed. So I decided to google the product and found some interesting results. Check this out from RipOffReport.com:

“It says nowhere on the offer that you are committed to buying 4 more bottles at outrageous prices. You can not get on the website to read the fine print. They will not let you get out of it. You will have to cancel your credit card to avoid charges. You will be charged 99.98 for further bottles. With a commitment of four bottles.

Nothing is free.”

I will like, “What?” So I read some more. Here’s what another consumer said:

“I order the so called free sample for $4.97 on March 16, the on April 6, my bank was charged 99.98. called the bank to see what it was. you quess it matabofuel000. called the company only to be put on hold for over a hour. then the rep refused to refund my money and also told me that more mony of 99.98 was due . called the bank bank back. the bank then told me to close my debit card and I will be issue a new card in 10-14 days.”

Whoa. After researching it some more I realized that my gut was right all along. It was a scam. A scam that I beat with my MBNA Shop Safe credit card. Thank God for MBNA. You were my first credit card and I hardly use you anymore, but I will forever keep you in my wallet because this is the best feature I have ever seen. If you do not have a credit card that offers something like a Shop Safe feature I suggest you get one today!

I was able to find a good overview of the entire situation at this link.

There are some good comment there too.

Until next time, don’t get ripped off and check out the Funny Pic Below.

ICP's Hallowicked Tour In Pittsburgh On 10-26-06
Friday. 8.18.06 7:34 am
First, let me start off by saying thanks to those who left me comments. You all really know how to make a person feel welcome into the community.

Second, before I get into my bit of info I wanted to say if you don’t like ICP don’t leave comments dissing them or me. I know a lot of people don’t like ICP and they shouldn’t. It’s not for everyone. But I’m not going to come on NuTang and talk bad about Metallica or Panic At The Disco because I don’t care for the music they do, that’s not what this place is for. Sorry for the disclaimer, but over the years I’ve run into several people that hate on ICP with little or no reason too. If you don’t like something that’s cool, just say you don’t like it and move on, don’t hate.

Ok, the Hallowicked Tour will be in Pittsburgh on October 26th, 2006. Being from North Central West Virginia this is the closest stop near me. It’s about a 2 hour drive. If you’re a juggalo and you’ve seen ICP before you know it’s worth it.

I just love seeing the Insane Clown Posse perform live. There are many reason like the awesome stage sets they have. Jeckel Brothers and Wicked Wonka stage sets were unreal. Another reason I like going is the “baptism of Faygo” at every live ICP show. You have to be a juggalo to know what I mean by that. But the main reason I go is the live energy from the crowd. The feeling the fam gives off in the pit. There is nothing like it. I’ve seen lots of other concerts, good and bad, rock and country, techno and rap, but I have never got the same energy rush that I get when I’m at a Psychopathic show.

Looking at the list of dates I notice that, like usual, there are no West Virginia tour dates. So if you live in the great state of WV here are some other dates that may be close enough to you:

October 24 2006
The Norva Theatre
Norfolk, VA

October 29 2006
Lifestyle Communities Pavillion
(formerly PromoWest Pavilion)
Columbus, OH

And of course I’ve always been told that there’s nothing like seeing ICP in Detroit for Hallowicked so if you want to check that out:

October 31 2006
State Theater
Detroit, MI

I’ve heard a lot of complaints over the years about ICP not coming to WV. I know we have a huge juggalo population here. I once wore my Twiztid shirt to the Morganton Mall for a free concert (not ICP) and juggalos were popping up everywhere telling me that Twiztid rocked. And one time a few years ago WCW held Monday Nitro in Charleston and there were hatchet man signs all over the building.

I don’t know the real reason they don’t play Charleston or Wheeling, but here’s a few possibilities. First, the venues may not allowing the launching of Faygo and if ICP can’t spray Faygo, they don’t play. Second, these cities compared to other cities in this state may have a large population, but compared to larger cities in some other states they don’t and there is really no way for Psychopathic Records to know how many people in these areas are juggalos, so WV gets skipped for a city with a larger population. I think Wheeling gets the bone because it’s so close to Pittsburgh.

Ok, I’m boring myself here, but I want to tell the story about why ICP doesn’t come to Huntington. A few years back, I think it was the Jeckel Brothers tour, ICP had a tour date to do a show in Huntington. I was thinking about going to it because I had just seen the Pittsburgh show and it was off the hook, but the 3 hours drive and the lack of funds prevented me from going. Anyway, from what I understand, the show was cancelled. Something to do with the venue not being big enough and when they tried to move it the second venue wouldn’t allow Faygo. Glad I didn’t go now. Well apparently the guy that owned the venue they were scheduled to play at had some kind of contract with them that said they couldn’t play anywhere else in Huntington until they did a show for him. So since that day Huntington ninjas have gotten the bone.

A couple years later I saw that Twiztid was scheduled to do a show at The Monkey Bar. While, it was listed on Twiztid’s website, it was never listed on the website for The Monkey Bar so I wasn’t sure if it was going down or not. They had a show listed for the day before and the day after, but they never listed Twiztid. And one of my best friends was living in Huntington at the time and was either too scared or just too lazy to stop by the Monkey Bar and ask if Twiztid was going to play there. I even offered to pick him up a ticket it they were. I never knew for sure, so I didn’t go. If anybody has the scoop on this let me know.

Well, if you’re still here with me, thanks for reading. Don’t know if I’ll get to update this weekend, so I’ll probably see you first of next week.

Finally, what you’ve all been waiting on…

Getting Started
Wednesday. 8.16.06 8:38 am
Ok, I’m going to trying this blogging thing one more time. I tried it a couple years ago, but just lost interest too early. It’s such a big thing now I’m giving it one more whirl to fit in and get the message out to my people.

I will (hopefully) be using this get my views out on a lot of stuff. Some juggalo related (shout out to the fam) and some on a more personal level. I guess a have to update regularly according to the rules so who knows what I’ll throw on here to full space.

Anyway, this is just my first one. I guess it will do for an introduction. I’ll have more stuff tomorrow (or whenever I feel like it).

Thanks for wasting your time here.
