lonely with fried pickles
Wednesday. 7.25.07 1:29 am
Today was a major packing day. I know that's not too exciting for you guys, but right now I'm laying on my mattress, on the floor, because everything else in my room is gone. It's kind of a lonely feeling but then again it just makes me want to get out of here even more. If things carry on like this, I'll be waiting in the car for everyone else to get ready to move the stuff.
Anyways in other news, life is an adventure. I went to Applebees today with a couple of friends. I decided to eat the fried pickles. Now before you say EWWW GROOOOOSS! let me remind you that life is indeed an adventure. Might as well try everything once! They aren't a bad food at all, an I have to say, if you've ever liked eating a pickle, you'd probably dig these. The first one is like eww what was that flavor thing, but after a few minutes you find yourself wanting to try out just one more... and then you're kinda hooked. Just make sure to get some other food like mashed potatoes to go with it, so that you can erase that pickley flavoring and start over because it kinda gets to be a bit much. Anyways, I really liked them, so if you are ever presented with the chance don't be too freaked out!!

The Use of a Dollar
Tuesday. 7.24.07 12:58 am
First I want to comment on my last post, or rather a comment from it. Someone posted: Some people at concerts are total poops. There is a such thing as mosh etiquette. And I just wanted to say back: Yay! Someone knows what I'm talking about!! I just might post what I think the rules of a concert should be and you all could add your thoughts on what I missed and we could make a master set of rules together. Then none of you would turn into the concert poops by not knowing what's going on!
Well anyway, today I went to where I'm moving and signed papers and bought the essentials for living like a vaccuum and cleaning supplies and pillows and just other general basic needs covered. The only thing I need now is to go to a Gordmans and get myself this cute endtable set I've had my eye on on the clearance rack. I'm quite excited about the things I got today. I got thirty things from the Dollar Tree... did you know that in that store absolutely anything that is in there is a dollar? It's like the best invention ever, you don't ever have to guess at about how much money you'll need. You need kleenex, cookies, a candle, and windex? You need five dollars, the extra one just to cover tax. It's amazing, but I'm easily made happy.

packing, Incubus, and feeling like a sardine!
Sunday. 7.22.07 11:42 pm
My life has been so super confusing lately that I haven't slowed down to write for a long period of time. I apologize for putting this off. I really do like it here, and I think it will be easier for me to write once I move and get a routine going, especially when I get to school.
So to catch you up on lately, I have been packing... and packing... and more packing. Soon it will all be packed and stuffed into a trailer to be moved to the capital. It's kind of neat to be going through my stuff and remembering all the memories attached. I've also been decently good at getting rid of things that really don't matter anymore and just cutting down what I have.
Working sucks, I have realized, but that's not something new for anyone, I'm sure.
I recently saw Incubus. It was a good show on their part, but bad planning on the show host. It was outside and with Hinder and multiple other bands that really aren't in the Incubus style of music. So my best friend really wanted to see just Incubus and we both have a dislike for the other bands, no offense meant, just personal taste. And I'm not even sure it's a dislike for the bands as much as it was the people that it drew out. People who were gross enough to take advantage of girls in a concert situation and girls unself-respecting enough to take it. I was absolutely furious with the people there, but it's not like I could get in a fight with the entire concert population. We sat through two bands in the middle of hell just to see Incubus. (Just as a note, I have gone to at least one concert every month since I was twelve, so I'm rather knowledgable about how standing in the middle of the most squished situation possible is survivable.) It was not pleasant, but when they started, I could see my friend was pleased. I tried to help a girl who was in a bad position and shouldn't have been in there because it was the worst I've ever seen and I'd guess it was her first time being in the first five rows. I leaned to the side to let her push off me because it was the only way I could find to lift her. Then the crowd shifted... and I fell down and then my legs were laid on by about ten people. I had to hit people in the legs and scream my head off just to get someone to grab my arms and yank me out of the entire situation. I haven't been more scared for my life like ever. For the rest of the time they played I just hoped and prayed that the concert no-nos being commited down there wouldn't kill anyone and we'd all get out alive. My friend got out of there too because she just couldn't breathe and we didn't see each other until we got to the car. So all in all that was a large failure in seeing her favorite band, unlike when she took me to see mine. Someday, I'll have to tell you about that, but that is a whole 'nother story.
Well, I have been writing for quite a while and I don't want to get annoying with massive posts. I still want you all to read them, so I better not get too carried away!! Have a great night ya'll!!

Marilyn Manson and kidney stones
Wednesday. 7.11.07 12:12 am
Sorry I didn't write for a while! My internet failed for a few days, what's the point of having all this high tech bull if it quits on me?!
I have had a very productive couple of days though. Much packing was accomplished and now I only have half of my room left to go! I am so excited to get out of here!!
I have been meaning to write down this story for about a week now. The other day I heard on the radio that while Marilyn Manson was in Germany he got denied entrance into a church, not because he was Marilyn Manson but because he was wearing lipstick. As far as I knew church ministers weren't supposed to judge because they think that God is the ultimate judger. Not that I condon Manson, but it just seemed an interesting tidbit.
Well I'm really not feeling so well tonight, I have stupid kidney stones, and I'm fearing another case of them is on the way! Here's to a goodnights sleep and no pain!!

puppies and deal-shopping
Friday. 7.6.07 9:07 pm
Heylo! Today I woke up late but it felt great. After I went to the gym, we ran some errands, and did some deal-shopping. I bought one dollar pancake batter and five movies for ten dollars, so that was exciting. I also ate Fazolis for dinner, which I absolutely adore fettichini alfredo.
We also went to see puppies at the animal shelters. I love dogs, and I'm looking for a female sable sheltie to love forever!! If you happen to know any, I'd love some tips on where to find them. Heck, if you are selling them, I'll take one!!!
Make tommorrow an amazing day, by the way. 555 is humans, 666 most people know, is the devils number, and 777 is supposed to be heaven on earth. So make 07/07/07 worth something special for you!!! I still need to go make my own plans... see you later!

my own fireworks for the fourth
Friday. 7.6.07 12:26 am
someday, I'll have more of a schedule and I'll be able to remember that the days are passing and then I'll get into a regularity of writing on here. I thought I'd tell you about my yesterday.
Everything was closed because of the fourth of July, but we started off the day by checking out the mall while we waited for a movie to start. Then we went to see 1408. Pretty intense movie, definitely a pop scare not a mental scare. But still pretty screwed up... good luck trying to decode that into english. Then we went to see Frank and Becky, who gave me photoshop, indesign, and illistrator for my computer so that I work on my graphic art instead of all canvas. I was elated!!! So I'm sure you can tell my preoccupation with not writing when I get to make pretty pictures online. Nothing amazing yet, but if I think anything looks cool, I'll post it up here.
Did I even tell you that I like art? Well, if I didn't, I do. I'm not super good or anything, but it's all for fun for me, not a career. Well anyways, we finished out the day by getting some dinner (mmm mashed potatoes....) and then heading home. It was a pretty great day, if I do say so myself! And I hope you had a great day for your fourth too!!!

OH! I just remembered.... I saw a video on yahoo today that was audio of what a tree sounds like when it's growing. I couldn't believe that it actually makes noise, and now you know when you are alone in a forest and you hear something.... well maybe it was the trees!!
