I got a membership to the YMCA, so I biked for ten miles and then played with all the other workout equipment. It was pretty awesome. I'm not necessarily trying to loose weight, but just be more in shape, because I have a wedding coming up, and who doesn't want to look good at their wedding?? Anyway, what I really wanted to tell you about was at the gym they had a they had a thing called a hip abductor. Doesn't that sound like an alien is going to pop out of the machine and steal away your hip bones? I thought it was a great machine, probably one of my favorites there. (0) | Recommend! apartments and cop drug checks Friday. 6.29.07 2:42 am Today I woke up to my fiance saying that he wanted to go to the capital right now... what possessed him, I don't know. We took the apartment papers in and an hour later the people called to say we have a home!!! I feel so much better knowing that I have somewhere to move at the end of the month. We move August 6th. I've been ecstatic all day! Another thing I thought I'd mention is that the cops were being very crafty today. We were driving along, and there were signs up just before an exit that said there were cops stopping every car with drug dogs present. After about ten miles of driving exactly the speed limit... we decided their were no cops. Either they all decided to go home and abandon their signs and whatnot, or they really planned on everyone who had drugs to freak out and take the nearest exit out of there. So I guess next time you see those signs, I guess you hedge your bets on whether you will actually get stopped or not! Comment! I have a tiny pink fish named Cracker (I want to get an orange one and name it cheese, see?) I cleaned the fish tank today, so I had to put the fish in a coffee mug to get him out of the water. I scrubbed the tank and the was cleaning the rocks at the bottom, and happened to glance at the cup. The fish was no longer in it!! How he got the idea stuck in his little head, I'll never know but that blasted fish jumped out of the cup on to the floor!! I thought I lost him, so I poured water all over him on the ground, and he jumped around. I scooped him up on a spoon (do fingers hurt little fish?) and dumped him in the water, and now he's swimming in his tank contentedly on my desk. I'll be avoiding that experience again!  Comment! I'll get around to it, but I just felt like typing for a while. I hope everyone is having a great day!! I don't have to go to work today, so I'm just ready to go on an adventure. Maybe a picnic is in order!! Since no one knows me here, I think I'm going to tell you something about myself every day until I run out of cool things to say, haha. I am what is called Straight Edge. I don't and won't drink, do any drugs, or anything that could potentially damage my body/mind. I don't have anything against people who do drink/ do drugs, heck, a lot of my friends do, and they are obviously still my friends. I believe it's a personal choice. People who do get all angry at people who do drink are called hardliners... and that's something I'm going to avoid. I just wanted to throw that out there, I guess! If anybody is interested in straight edge and how it all works, or if you just want to tell me your thoughts on it (good or bad, I can take criticism) that's cool! Otherwise! Hey and how are ya! I'm really glad that I get to write on here. I'm going to try to write every day to give myself a little sanity. Some of the entries will be about the day I lived, old stories, dreams I've had, and what will be happening in my future.
