Today I move onward. Because it ends here, I'm not going to delve into it. Just wanted to say that even though it was a reminder, I have a good feeling it's finally over. I can now breath a sigh of relief.
In honor of my new freedom, here's an oldie, but a goodie.
I think in many ways life is like a puzzle. With every new mystery piece, you have to figure out how it fits into the bigger picture. Well, I was thinking about something the other day that kinda struck me. Not too long ago I had a whole string of boyfriends. I mean I wouldn't go a few months before I had myself a new boyfriend, and these relationships would last several months into years.
Then suddenly that all changed and I found myself single. I didn't know what happened. Not much had changed outside of the fact that yes, i did get older, and yes, I did end up moving quite a bit, however, I was still the same person.
Then I realized that the things that surrounded me weren't condusive to what I wanted. I realized that when I surrounded my life with that which I wanted, I got it. Your mind gets bombarded with millions of pieces of stimuli a day, and the more frequently one comes into play, the more prominent it will become in your existance. When I was dating these guys I would have posters of anime couples in my room. Something like an Akane and Ranma poster up and stuff like that. Or when I would get my camera or bass, I would have photos of them on my blog. So here's for trying a new experiement.
You're an office jockey, but you have loftier goals for yourself. Your family doesn't support your goals, however you're able to get by with a little extra help from friends and occasionally financial help from family, but you're still cutting it by the skin of your teeth.
Then an opportunity for you to shine comes about. It might mean taking a leap of faith into the unknown, but looking at where you are now, although you like the person you work for, the money isn't cutting it.
I just sent in my resume, looking to take that leap of faith. Let's see if I can really fly.

Talking about being under the gun and showing what you've got, here's a double for you...
Have you ever had those instances where you felt like your life was charmed? I mean like everything falls into place just like a puzzle? Well, I found myself in one of those moments this afternoon when I found myself at the right place at the right time. I was going to the post office and I was walking when the express bus pulled up right behind me. When I got off the bus, I bumped into an old co-worker of mine, and on my way back the right train arrived just as I got to the platform.
It was interesting to note because I was reading "The Master Key System" by Charles F. Haanel. If you don't know about it, I'd suggest you look it up if you were into "the secret". And for the person that asked, yeah, it's the same one that was on Oprah (however I heard about it on Amazon.com first).
